10:First Heat

A lot can happen in a brief time and something big happened within those two months. It was the night of my second month.

That one night when Luna had finally decided to leave her house and explore the outdoor environment after weeks of living in a secure yet suffocating confine, she decided that she would go... grocery shopping. Something near in terms of gaining courage and leaving the cave.

Though she was persistent but she felt insecure and doubted everything she was to encounter every second. She minimized the physical mute appearance in her by wearing baggy clothes and leaving her morning hair undone. She was never bothered with her appearance and right now she most definitely wasn't. It was night time and she decided to visit the 24/7 open market few blocks away from her house.

Whens he was finally done grocery shopping it was already very late and the area was becoming less crowded. She did spot few mutes but they were either mated or accompanied by a strong royal blood. That made her smile that how some people aren't insensitive and do look forward to protect their mutes.

 Luna had made sure to wear the over sized hoodie with a strong royal blood scent infused in it. Since her scent was concealed by the overpowering scent of the royal's scent, she was able to roam freely without being caught.

As she was walking, her stomach starts churning and an unsettling feeling was left in her to worry about. She was sensing trouble and a twist today since morning but she chose to ignore it but now when she is surrounded by slight darkness and emptiness on the streets, she is becoming unsure of her safety. As if something bad is going to happen, she wants to rush home but there is a good distance left to be crossed. The grocery bags she was holding weren't heavy at all but fear got her hands shaking and she wanted to let go of the weight. Her pace was becoming fast but conscious and unsteady. Over the silence of the emptiness, she could hear the loud thump of her heart which made her feet feel like jelly. Moreover she could feel her supernatural spirit tremble and it tried dominating Luna's body. Though Mist couldn't dominate fully but in that moment it wanted to take control and escape the unsettling and anonymous danger. What ever dreadful thing was about to approach them both or them being one as in said her, it was nearing and she could feel it in her veins.

"Mist what is happening?" Luna panicked as her supernatural persona started chanting uncertain yet painful sentences.

"It is coming and it is extreme. The pain will shatter us both. We need to hide. We need to run. Let me Out! Let me Go!" Mist yells and chants over and over again. Each chant made her powerful enough to take control over Luna's humanoid form. Luna's heterochromic eyes fluctuated from Blue and purple gradient eyes to her unique switched colored eyes that is one blue and the other green. Basically Mist and Luna were having a battle to over power the other hence causing the eye color to fluctuate from Mist's to Luna's and from Luna's to Mist's.

"Stay inside!" Luna yells as she clutched the bags tightly and shuts her eyes close trying to take control over the supernatural.

"WE ARE IN TROUBLE, WHAT POINT OF IT DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND!?" Mist yells at Luna but Luna being the stubborn girl she is, she kept fighting and decided not to believe in anything Mist tries to tell her. "LET. ME. OUT!" Mist punctuates the words and gained power by every word. Yet Luna being her human self in the physical form but strong enough had beat Mist to it.

The internal battle was getting intense and Luna wanted Mist to be gone and remain in her limits and not over power Luna. They kept fighting until Luna had enough. Soon the purple and Blue gradient disappeared from her eyes and she gained control of her body again. "No!" she yelled at Mist and after that she did not hear her supernatural other protest.
