As Izuku left principal Nezu's office he held Eri in his hands as she was terrified of her new surroundings and only felt safe in Izuku's care. As he made his way towards the dorms the second he stepped inside was when everyone rushed him asking questions reguarding why the work study would be on hold.
As he calmed everyone down they quickly noticed a crying child in his arms the first to speak was Katsuki.
Katsuki: Deku who's the kid?
Izuku: her name is Eri and she's a rescue from my patrol today. To be honest we barely escaped with our lives
As everyone gasped at the revelation that could have happened Momo broke through the wall of students who kept her apart from Izuku. When she was finally with him again tears threatened to leave her eyes but then she noticed the little girl in his arms.
Momo: Who's this little angel?
Izuku: hey honey this is Eri she's a rescue during my patrol we almost had an encounter with Overhaul the leader of the 8 precepts of death.
Momo noticed how the little girl was covered in bandages while wearing rags she asked Izuku to allow her to hold Eri as he was passing her to Momo Eri was panicking. Izuku was able to calm her down and told her that Momo wouldn't do anything to hurt her.
As Momo held Eri like a loving mother would she took Eri to their room and Izuku followed them. Many of the students were still confused as to why Izuku brought a child with him until Aizawa and Nezu walked into 1-A's dorms.
Nezu: Students did you see where Midoriya went?
Ochako: Momo took the little girl and Izuku back to their room.
Nezu: perfect we have some matters to speak about now excuse us.
Nezu and Aizawa had walked to the Midoriya room as they knocked Izuku greeted them as the two teachers stepped inside Izuku noticed the stack of papers Aizawa carried.
Aizawa: You're probably wondering what these are.
Izuku: Yes i am
Nezu: These are adoption papers for Eri UA cant legally adopt her but since you and Momo are legally married you can.
After Momo came out of the bathroom with Eri who was just given a bath and dressed in a pretty red dress both the teacher and Principal were surprised to see the little girl who looked terrified now had a small smile.

Momo: what going on Izu?
Izuku: Well the principal would like to know if we'd be willing to adopt Eri as our daughter.
Momo shriked in excitement as she lifted Eri up and began to give her lots of love and affection she then told her.
Momo: Eri would you like it if me and Izu became your mama and papa?
