Bullying is never a fun thing to deal with.
You and Martha were surfing the halls of school, the dismissal bell ringing, signifying the end of shooting class. You had your books and notes held up to your chest tightly, laughing at a quite cheesy joke that Martha was saying.
Kids rushed left and right, some bumping your shoulder or curving their body just in time not to hit you. Some kids held binders close to their chest, whilst some only held backpack straps loosely in their fingers, slinging their bags on their backs, talking amongst their friends.
Martha cleared her throat. "Ok ok ok! So, what do you call a time traveling cow?" Martha snickered, closing her binder filled with mathematics formulas, and the anatomy of a gun sheet due tomorrow. You remembered you had to help her with that.
You rolled your eyes at her. "Oh Gods, what?" You laughed out.
"Doctor Moo." She stared at you, her brown eyes expectant for a response despite her lackluster joke. Of course, it was obvious she only expected an eye roll, which she usually got. Still, she struggled to hold back a smile as the corners of her mouth twitched.
"Ok, that was funny!" You leaned foreword, laughing along with her in the middle of the hallways.
"Out of the way, nerd!" A random kids voice shouted in the midst of students. You barley had time to react as Martha tripped over her own black boots, landing hard on her knees as she dropped her binder, a few stray papers flying out.
You were quick to fall with her as a rough shoulder knocked you out, your binder strap entangling at your feet, followed by the other forces of kids pushing you in a fit to rush to their next class, a firm hand also pushing your back.
Your body fell to the floor, your other shoulder crashing against the tile, a lot worse than Martha.
Some laughter erupted from down the halls, some far and some seemingly right behind you and your friend. You wasted no time to brush yourself off hastily, feeling your face heat up, your shoulder aching in the process, to help the dark skinned woman beside you, completely disregarding yourself. You winced a little to yourself, cursing your now quickly bruising shoulder.
Another body knelt down in front of you rather quickly, their knees hitting the floor roughly rather quick, making a dull thudding noise. Black dress-pants quickly caught your eye.
"I-I'm sorry. Are you okay?" An accented voice caught you by surprise, more of a startle to your mind, like you had just woken up from a long nap. Your eye felt like a haze was swatted away from your eyes.
Your (E/C) orbs did a double take as your vision panned up the boy in front of you, like a scene in a movie almost. The fall had somewhat disoriented you and at that point you wondered, did you hit your head during your fall? You almost raised a (S/C) hand to your head to make sure you it wasn't bleeding, but you stopped yourself before you confused the boy in front of you.
The boy had to have been in the same grade as you, if not, only one grade higher at the most, though his face looked far too young. Your first impression of him was someone who carried himself well, your mind thought; Or at least someone who was nice enough to help a random girl who fell. Someone who at least took the time out of their day to help a stranger and even make them late to a class.
A simple, yet wrinkled, plain white t-shirt had rested on the boys skinny body. His sleeves almost covered the bottoms of the palms on his hands as the buttons down the middle of his shirt went almost all the way up to his neck. A loose black tie hung there lazily as not a strand of his swept blonde hair was in his face.
