Duckburg lay silent as a mouse, most of it being lucky enough to be held by sleep himself.

McDuck Manor's halls remain the same as their city. Silent. Still. Snoring away their worries, unaware that there was, in fact, one among them who had been unable to get the sleep she so desperately needed.

It had been a rough year for them all, especially the young warrior luckily bestowed upon this family known as Webbigail Vanderquack.

Some ducks say the McDucks are a curse. A mistake to the world. These ducks are known as doubters. Doubting the family who, little do they know, constantly risk their lives to save Duckburg and the people they love.

Others say they are a family lucky to be alive, especially after all the agony they endured. These ducks are known as sympathises. These are the ducks they especially protect, the ducks that are the reason the city of Duckburg is so alive, the ducks that are the reason for the McDucks striving passion to protect the city, and the world.

However, even those who avoid McDucks, those who believe the McDucks are a burden to the world, even those doubters agree to the fact that the McDucks are lucky enough to survive the depths of hell they are constantly thrown into.

Although somehow what they had recently endured seems far worse then hell, as they had been the unlucky ones to be captured by Satan himself and put under a true curse, a curse many believed they would never survive. Little did the world know their thriving passion and careful love for each other could get them through anything.

However, there was one particular unlucky duck who had drowned in everyones grief. One duck who had yet to surface from the freezing cold water she was thrown into. A duck once known as a little girl but then, a strong warrior.

One Webbigail Vanderquack lay wide awake in her bed, thoughts racing like a race car, stress flooding her mind. They may have won the battle, however, the young warrior worries they have not won the war.

So much time had flown by she feels she's no longer a kid. Like her childhood had been taken away from her. How could it truely be over? So much pain and agony had been to the McDucks and the fault of that pain lies on the one and only Webbigail Vanderquack. The girl the McDucks so determinately saved over and over and over again. Bringing her back despite all the agony she has caused. Why would they do such a thing? After everything she had done she may as well be classified as a villain, an enemy to the world... a burden.

Tears slowly welled in the young girls eyes as she shook them away.

'You are a warrior! You can't just sit here and cry! You're family spent many sleepless nights protecting you! Now you need to return the favour!' She scolded herself.
