Hindi ko pinansin ang text message dahil pababa ako ng sinakyan kong tricycle galing sa school. Medyo ginabi na dahil sa practice ng sayaw para sa presentation sa P.E. next week. Nakakapagod pero buti na lang TGIF!

Makakapagbasa na ulit ako ng fiction books pagkatapos ng mahabang linggo. Hindi na ako makapaghintay! Kinuha ko ang isang itim na libro mula sa shelf at pumwesto sa aking study desk. Hindi ito Death Note ha!

Biglang nasira ang kilig moment sa imahinasyon ko. I was busy reading the first book of the Night World Series my cousin gave me last December.

Crap. I had to pause my precious moment to check the message. I took a sip from the iced cold coffee on my study table. Kinuha ko ang Nokia de-keypad kong cellphone sa tabi ng binabasa kong libro.

Teka nga. Saturday bukas ah!
I almost spat the coffee all over the damn pages! I read the text message again and got confused. Bigla akong napaisip ng malalim.

First: I was not updated na may group work kami at deadline na bukas
Second: Hindi ko siya group mate
Third: Mas lalong hindi naman ako si Mitch!

Like Mitch who? Excuse me, but whoever she is, my name is much better than that. Another thing, please fix the spellings and punctuations. Ang sakit sa mata.

The message came from an unknown number. Well, texting the wrong number is so common nowadays. What's new? Lagi naman sinasabing wrong number pero nakuha pala yung number sa plug-in ng mutual friends para magkaroon ng textmates.

I rolled my eyes before typing my response.
