Michael's pov
So from what I'm told Li found his mate but those are just rumors until it's proven and ever since that little argument we had we aren't on speaking terms. Maybe I should just apologize, I mean he was just making sure I was ok. I had been acting strange since Nathan Sykes joined the school.
Sighing I walked into the school and went straight for my first period class.
Nathan's pov
So that Michael Clifford guy has been staring at me ever since I got here and I'm really confused as to why he is staring at me. Maybe I have something on my face or something. Anyways Ken, Ari, and Hayes have been acting strange today, like this morning I went to tell them hi but they completely ignored me, I'll admit that hurt just a little. At least Shawn is still talking to me.
Michael's pov
I told Ken, Ari, and Hayes to stop talking to Nathan, they didn't like that idea but listened to me anyways. I could see the hurt in their eyes when they walked past me but I could see the hateful glares they sent me at the same time. Nathan looked so broken then but it had to be done, the only one I can't control is Shawn, seeing as he's human. "Michael what's your deal my cousin he won't stop crying and his mate Carter can't get him to stop" Luke yells at me. "Are you challenging me?" I asked him. "You're not alpha yet, at least not until you've found your mate you jackass" he yells and then storms off. Well there goes one of my best friends.
Shawn's pov
Nath and I were on our way to lunch when Luke, Hayes's older cousin, stormed by and knocked me on the ground. "Shawn oh my god are you ok?!?!" Nath asks me. "Yeah Nath I'm fine relax" I say chuckling. "Shit I'm so sorry" Luke says. "I'm fine really" I tell both of them. Luke looked a little excited but worried at the same time.
Luke's pov
'MATE!!' my wolf exclaims happily. 'I know but Nath only has one friend and he's our mates friend' I tell my wolf. 'I know, so what do we do?' he asks. 'We could befriend Nathan and hopefully date our mate at the same time' I tell him. 'Yes I like this idea' he says. 'Great then it's settled' I tell him.
"Can I possibly sit with you guys?" I asked them. "Yeah sure but what about your friends?" Nathan asks me. "Eh they will survive if I'm not there" I tell him. 'Luke what the fuck are you doing?!?! Stay Away from Nathan and Shawn, that's an order' Mikey yells through mind link. 'Fuck off Clifford I refuse to let you control me, I don't know who pissed in your cherrios but I'm done, I'm pretty fucking sure Li is done too. When are you going to just ask Nathan out?' I ask him. 'Got nothin to say? I must have struck a nerve' I tell him. Next thing I know Mikey and I are fighting each other, well we continued fighting until we heard whimpering.
Nathan's pov
Maybe I should have just continued walking but I couldn't move I just stood in place watching a bloody and bruised Michael walk towards me. His eyes are a darker green but are slowly going back to the lite colored green I saw when our eyes first met.
