Chapter 12 Part one *Edited*

Lea's POV

"I don't have time for this right now Jared, can you call me later when I'm not too busy please, honey please do this one thing for me.. I know I know I said I'd buy it but can you wait until I get back home and we will negotiate, yes you need them but I'm going into an important meeting right now.. Sure okay sweetie just make sure Janette eats her dinner and I'll come help her with her homework later on, no you finish yours and I'll read your English essay too.. yes okay, I love you sweetie, bye"

" Let me guess, Jared doesn't want to do his homework and his forcing you to buy him new sneakers again?"

" Yeah, why doesn't he ever call you?"

" Cause he knows he can get you to buy him whatever he wants, you are too weak when it comes to that boy I swear"

" Well he is my first born you know, and he has his father's charms, what can I say it's my weakness"

" Yeah and Janette is mine..but let's get back to business shall we, we have an appointment with Mr Shah"

" Uhg don't remind me..that man gives me the creeps"

I am currently in my office at the headquarters which is far from being a normal work office. I have been working here for the past three years and it's been quite a rollercoaster ride for me. I was in a coma for almost six months after being shot and it took a while to fully recoperate, I finished school but didn't go to college as I got a good job offer. My parents are still agents but they own the Shadow Agency now, Mr Shadow retired after saving me and making sure Bobby wasn't going to hurt anyone ever again. The men who kidnapped me from Bobby were indeed enemies of Bobby who wanted to destroy him. They ended up being caught and send to jail for kidnapping as embezzlement of Shadow Agency's money. The information Bobby was looking for was destroyed and all his men got arrested, except for my two kidnappers as it was established that they were forced by Bobby to work for him. After saving me everyone thought I was dead, but alas I survived. When I found out my parents were agents all I could say was "Whoa whoa whoa, my parents are secret agents??" Yeah saying I was shocked was an understatement.

Flashback (3 years ago)

Third person POV

"What do you mean she got shot?" Howard asked the agent as he got into the room where his daughter was in

"Yes, I'm sorry but we were too late I'm afraid she isn't going to make it, we called the ambulance and they are on their way" one of the agents responds

" Then where is the darn ambulance? It's been over half an hour now, and don't tell me my daughter isn't going to make it, cause she will, I know she will..She just has to, she has to" Howard said as he sat down holding onto his daughter.

After pacing up and down in the waiting area at the hospital for hours the doctors finally came out.

"Doc please tell me how our daughter is doing" Howard asked as him and his wife and son rushed towards the doctor.

" I don't want to be the bearer of bad news but she is in critical condition, she lost alot of blood and she might have a concussion, we don't know exactly for how long but I'm sorry to tell you that your daughter is in a deep coma. We tried everything we could but the rest is in God's hands, these 24hours are crucial so pray for a miracle because now that's the only thing that could save your daughter, if you wish you could go in and see her, but only immediate family is allowed visitation rights as Miranda Lea Williams is in critical condition"

End of flashback

After coming out of the coma I had to redo an entire year of school because I missed out on alot of work and by the time I was fully recovered the final exams were already over. I did not have a problem with that and was happy to finish school.

Flashback

"I can't believe I graduated" I squealed with excitement. I was currently at our house,we just arrived from my graduation, all my friends and family were there and I couldn't be happier.

"Yes, I know sweetie I'm very proud of you, you did well" my mum said with teary eyes

" We are glad that you are back home, we missed you so much" my brother Edward says while ruffling my hair

Everyone is here, my friends Natalie, Carly and Ann, my brothers friends Liam, Gustav, Tristan and Caleb, also Liam's mom and dad and his little sister, my annoying aunt, and of course my father and mother.

"People let's go eat I am starving" My dad calls out to us as we were conversing.

I found out that Liam's mom and dad quit their job as secret agents when Liam explained to them that not having them around was affecting his and Tiffany's life's badly. Liam is at a University and studying medicine which is funny because he hates hospitals. Natalie took a gap year stating that school was too much and she needed the rest. Carly and Gustav are dating and both are at the same college. Tristan and Caleb decided to major in sports as they got scholarships at good Universities. Ann dropped out of University in the second semester because she did not want to major in law and decided to go to an arts college. I on the other hand got a good job offer and decided that I would not be going to college.
