4.) 🤐Unexpected occurrence🤐

Authors POV.

The morning soon swept away the night with a bright orange ray of sunshine peeking through Wills window. Will look up all most forgetting the fact that Mike is cradled up behind him. His eyes adjust to the light as he turns to see his best friend and crush sleeping soundly.

Will didn't wanna wake him so he figured he was just gonna be stuck there for a while until Mike woke up. He lays patiently looking at Mike's face connecting his freckles in his mind like a constellation. He was so in aw, he couldn't believe that he had his first real love laying right in front of him.

Mike's eyes soon fluttered open and met with wills hazel eyes,a dark blush spread across Wills cheeks. A tired smile crept to Mike's lips pulling will close out of comfort, taken in Wills sweet vanilla scent. Mike heart began to race.

Will didn't push back or show any form of struggle he embraced it holding back tightly. Will was losing his mind he didn't know what to think he was lying beside the crush he had since second grade and he didn't know if he was supposed to say anything so he decided to sit there in silence. Both comfortable in each other's arms the two boys radiate heat off each other as the sun lights up each other's fractures beautifully.

Mike pulled away and looked at will the sun hitting his face perfectly enhancing the mix of colors in Wills Hazel eyes. Mike broke the silence saying softly "you're so beautiful". Will was choked up he was so lost for words he didn't even know what to say he just smiled until he managed to let out a "t-thank you".

Mike smiled with pleasure as he climbed on top of Will and tickle him.Will bursted out with laughter and it was music to Mikes ears. Will gently kicked and pushed trying to get Mike off of him but he was helpless, Mike was so much stronger than him besides being a twig himself. Mike noticed Will losing his breath and calmed down collapsing on to Wills chest.

Will smiled and Without realizing his hand traces up Mike's back and into his fluffy set of black locks as he twirls his fingers threw Mikes hair. Mike breaths out in relief loving the feeling of his hair being played with was almost sending him to sleep. They loved this.

Sadly the lovey-dovey moment was broken by Mrs. Wheelers calling up to the boys saying "Rise and shine breakfast is ready". The boys sigh when having to leave each other's arms but Mikes stomach rumbles causing Will to laugh. They go down for breakfast.

It was now later in the afternoon and the boys sat in Mike's basement waiting for wills mom to come get him. They sat and watch Halloween together cradling each other in each other's arms. Mike found it absolutely adorable every time a jump scare would happen will would squeeze tighter on to him jumping closer into his lap. Sadly the moment was ruined after wills mom soon arrived. Mrs. Wheeler calling the down to the boys to come up so Will could go home.

The boys say their farewells and will head home. Mike wanders into his bedroom and flops down his head full of confusion.

Mike thought to himself 'I can't believe I did that I can't believe that just happened, what are these feelings, are these the feelings of persuaded me into breaking up with El. I'm not even sure myself but is this Love?'.

Mike grabs his pillow and cradles it in his arm like they did the other night.Mike was so lost in his own thoughts. He pretended the pillow is will and that he wasn't alone in his room his eyes fill with tears.

Something Noah knew about Michael Wheeler was that he had a fear of being alone he presented himself as a strong headstrong leader but deep inside he was a coward he didn't want to be alone even a group of losers as people called him he wanted to make them feel safe but Mike wasn't even safe with himself. Mike shook his head in disbelief and tried to change the subject in his thoughts.

The ride home for Will was pleasurable him and his mom sang songs on the radio.The whole time will had a big shit eating grin. Joyce noticed and kind of had a feeling about what might've been going on she was well aware that will had a crush on Mike but never said anything waiting for Will to come forward with it.

Joyce did not even care she just love to see her boy happy that's all she cared about. They arrive home and an unexpected car pulls into the driveway after them minutes later as Joyce goes to unlock the door. It was a drunk lonnie who is drunk as he blasted different types of rock music coming from his speakers of his truck. He shook his fist with anger then starts screaming "you broke me! you broke me I can't believe this I can't believe this."

Wills eyes fill with shock as Joyce pushes Will into the house locking it behind her she didn't know what the right thing to.Joyce didn't want to approach Lonnie but she didn't want her children to be in danger. She tried to get him to leave but all he does is stay and scream.Will and Jonathan sit in the living room listening make sure there mother was ok.

Jonathan had a look of anger on his face he wasn't about it he was about to go outside and burst with second.Thats when he heard a loud smacking sound against Joyce's face. Running out the door and tackles Lonnie to the ground Joyce trying to pull him off. Jonathan really went hard with this one. Of course he did it's over his mother he was defending. Lonnie picked himself up off the ground and ran to his car cursing.

Lonnie flips them off and looks back  and says "fuck you ! fuck you !what a family !especially my own child !can't believe that you're all disappointments I can't wait to see you guys sitting on the street begging the township for money!".The whole time this occurred well sat on the couch shaking in fear almost tears falling out of his eyes he just wanted Jonathan and his mother to come inside so everything felt better and safe.
