"Awe! My poor baby has a little fever!" Sam pouted pulling her hand away from my forehead. I smiled faintly and leaned to the side to cough a little. Raven stood in the doorway and clicked her tongue.

"You should have listened to Sammy~" She sang with a smirk. I rolled my eyes telling her to shove it. Her face softened and she came up rubbing my head. I smiled again and watched them stop at the doorway.

"There's soup downstairs in the fridge if you're up to it." Sam said followed by Raven.

"Also some ingredients for some herbal green tea. Make sure you drink that." Raven eyed me.

The two said before waving and going to school. I sighed and turned on my side. I guess I did get sick but because I don't get sick I didn't care as much. I woke up groggy and felt the need to puke. So Raven's final decision was I to stay home. I mean that gives me time to do assignments. But I think I also need a rest day. My back feels better though so thats something. I flinched when my phone vibrated. I looked and a calendar notification popped up.

Sam's birthday☺️💕

I stared blankly at the notification. I gasped slightly remembering that I have a lot of shit to work on. Sam's birthday is Valentine's Day and in this house is where parties are planned and done. It's mostly Raven. She came up with the idea because dad was gone and she was her teenage self. So now we do parties for birthdays and some holidays only if my dad's not home. He's not home for another three weeks or so and Sam's birthday is in the next few days. We want it to be a surprise party but she already knows this is expected....but that doesn't stop us!

My cousin Moon is also coming back into town! He left to Hawaii for a week. He lives across town and works at the only tattoo shop. He's one of my favorite people in the world. I usually have him buy us adult drinks for parties because we are irresponsible teenagers.

Though we have to watch Raven because she doesn't like to pace herself and either ends up throwing up, doing stupid shit, or last time she woke up in the woods. She a bit crazy in every way shape and form but that's what makes Raven.. Raven. Sam is a lightweight so she doesn't drink much anyways. I'm neutral. I mostly pace myself and I get a good drunk or decide to be like Raven and say 'fuck the world'. Last time I was like Raven I ended up sleeping on the island with half my shirt off.

"Get some food!" I groaned to myself feeling my stomach rumble. I want food but I don't know if it's a good idea. I'll make the tea then. I slowly got up and made my way downstairs to the kitchen. On the counter was some mint leaves, a cup, honey, some weird looking dried flowers, and cold medicine. Raven's like our little witch. It happened before we moved here. We moved here when we were nine and before that we lived in the Amazon Rain forest.

We had a pack and the elders would teach Raven about herbs and spells and all that. We moved because of a few reasons. They aren't all that important I guess and I don't like being reminded of that time in my life.

I ended up drinking the tea and moving to the living room. I had all my homework and a sheet for planning Sam's birthday day. It's around one so I guess I could eat the soup now. I got up and wondered back into the kitchen. In the fridge was a bowl and it was chicken noodle soup. I'm not a big fan but Raven loves chicken noodle.

"Should I?" I hummed to myself. I was staring into space thinking about the party. Since it's Valentine's Day we should maybe hang up some corny decorations. I don't know but I should start cleaning the house too. Because people come and go as they please we take everything and set the downstairs or in our rooms. We also lock all doors except for bathrooms and the back and front door.

*beep beep bee-*

I took the soup out of the microwave and set it down trying to think but my head and stomach hurt a lot. Well the party will be on valentines, I'll make it a surprise party and have Raven entertain Sam. I guess we can get some decorations and I'll beat up Moon if he doesn't buy us things.

I took the soup and slowly sipped on it. Mmmm~

I have homework I need to work on~

I groaned and took the soup with me to the living room. I stared blankly at my papers while filling myself up. Maybe I could go for a walk. My phone vibrated and it was a text from Raven.

My mouth fell open as I read the text. How did she- huh? I scrunch my nose and threw my phone on the couch. How did she know I was thinking that? She sucks! I groaned and flopped back.

Now what am I gonna do?
