Rise Of The Cats

Chapter 1-RiverCats

A bright ginger and white pelt flashed towards the sun. A silver tabby followed more slowly as if afraid to get her paws dirty. "Fire!" The silver tabby yowled, Fire stopped, dismay clouding her sparkling amber eyes. "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?" The silver tabby screeched, neck fur bristling. Fire started to go back to the tabby she-cat. "What are you doing Stream?" Fire meowed nervously. Stream snarled "can't you see the gorge? The grass plain stops here but you crossed the rocks! A few more pawsteps and you would of fell off!". Fire bounded over to the gorge, "Stream.... I am so sorry!". Stream calmed down but terror still flickered in her shining green gaze. Fire bounded beside her, "Stream do you think Rain will be pleased?". Stream glanced down at the two fat rabbits Fire had flushed from a warren. Stream nodded, the rabbits would be perfect for the nursing queen. Rain had given birth to three healthy kits, one silver and white tabby she-kit  named Mistypaw, one golden brown tom named Thorn and a tortoiseshell she-cat named Song. Fire sighed and begun to wander through the charred land that the fire had blazed through few moons ago, Stream would be sent to ForestCat's land to help protect them from the unknown cats who kept kidnapping other cats. However as much as Fire hated the thought of Stream leaving, she had to admit the fire was worse.The Clan cat leader, Bright Spirit had ordered all Clans to escape to another forest, the journey was long and hard and Splash, Rain's sister  had died, falling into a raging river while the Clans fought off some Non-Folk cats." FIRE!!!!" A plaintive mewl shook Fire from her thoughts. Fire bounded swiftly through the ferns and into the camp. The last thing she saw before leaping into camp was Stream and another dark brown tabby padding of together, tails entwined.
