A/N: So I'm gonna twist the gang concept a bit to fit better to the ships in this AU. In reality, if your in a gang and gay, you'll get ur ass handed to you, but since this AU is gonna be gay AF, I'm gonna take that detail out of it. Also sorry if I get some basketball terms wrong. I used to play a while back, but never took the time to learn names or anything like that.
As I sat down, I looked towards the boy in red, the boy whose name was Keith. He looked to the side seeming uninterested, but for some weird reason, he turned to look up at me. I looked into his eyes, and despite what had just happened, I found myself captivated by them. They were a bright hue of violet, that seemed to shine from the light coming in through the windows.
I was lost in them, swimming in them, until I heard Pidge's voice. "So Lance, Hunk, long time no see. What the fuck are you doing here?" Hunk had sat down on the other side of me, and looked over me to talk to Pidge. "I told him it was a bad idea, but did he listen? No!" I could practically feel her deadpan. "He's still an idiot huh?" I felt my eye twitch, and irritation slowly boil in my chest. "Can you not talk about me like I'm not here?"
"I'm sorry buddy, but it's true. I told you it was a bad idea," he looked over me to Pidge with a smile," but I'm glad we got to see you again. She flashed a smile in response. "Same here." She then snapped her head to me, wearing an irritated expression. "Lance, how about you take off the fucking jacket before you get yourself into more trouble."
I crossed my arms, and looked away from her, at an upward angle. "No way. I'm not gonna hide who I am. I'm not scared of some weak Bloods." I heard a deep voice, and looked up. It was Keith. "You should be. It has nothing to do with which gang is stronger, or any of that macho bullshit. It's about power in numbers. It's only two of you, and even if we all helped, this place is packed with Bloods. If you want to survive you have to suck up your pride, and not look for trouble. Especially if you come to this side of town. If you keep this up, one day your gonna find yourself in a situation you can't get out of, and no one will be there to help you. Don't let that happen cause you put your pride above your life."
I kind of froze in my place. I wanted to retaliate with something, but there was nothing I could say. I found no fault in his logic. He was...right. I mentally slapped myself for even thinking that. I didn't want to admit that a Blood, let alone this Keith guy, was right in any sense, but he was. Not like I was ever gonna admit that to him. "Fine," I spat, "but only so you two can get off my ass."
I begrudgingly took off my jacket, and as I slid off a sleeve, I saw Pidge, Matt, and Hunk wearing a somewhat shocked expression. Looks like they were just as surprised as I was. I placed my jacket next to me, and when I looked up, I came to find that Keith was wearing a similar expression. I guess he didn't expect me to listen either.
I looked to Keith in a slightly sassy way. "Better?" He looked away, with his cheek still on his palm. I heard a small "Hm," but something caught my eye. It was light, barely noticeable, but I still saw it. There was a slight tint of pink on his cheeks. I didn't know why they were like that, but I chose to ignore it. I looked away, and started talking to Pidge. She is the reason why I came here in the first place.

When I got home, I slipped off my shoes, tossed my backpack on the couch, and walked into the kitchen to grab a drink. As I bent down to grab a bottle, I heard a noise from behind me. I whipped out my knife, and threw it across the kitchen. When I saw who it was, I let out a sigh.
"Jesus Adam. Don't sneak up on me like that. Why are you still here anyways? It's like 3 in the afternoon." He pulled out my knife from the cupboard next to him. I had just missed his head by an inch. "Shiro and I stayed up late." He slid the knife across the counter to me, and I put it back in my pocket. "Thanks." I looked at his clothes, and noticed that he was wearing my brother's shirt, and boxers that barely peaked out from under it.
