Midnight Confessions (Karkat x Troll!Reader)

Part 8

Karkat suddenly grabs your face with one hand, squishing your cheeks.

“Why did you hide?”

“Why do you keep asking?”

“Because I care about you.”

“I know that Kar. But leave me alone. The more you ask me the less willing I’ll be to tell you.”

“_____.”

You sigh. “What Karkat.”

“_____ are you flushed for me?”

 

You tense up slightly and look him dead in the eye, hoping to play this off as nothing. You open your mouth to speak but nothing comes out.

 

“Well, are you?” he asks.

 

You sigh. Guess this is the time to tell him, whether you are ready or not.

Diverting your gaze, you say “Yes Karkat, I guess I am. I didn’t want to tell you though, because you are matesprits with Terezi now.”

 

He stares at you and thinks for a moment. You pray by some miracle he didn’t hear you, or this is just a demented version of a dream bubble.

 

“Interesting,” He says. He moves your face again so you are staring right at him, and he leaves only an inch of space between your two faces.

“Very interesting.”
