Annabelle's P.O.V

We pulled up to the flower shop and I hopped out, slamming the door behind me. Sauntering into the familiar store, I walk straight up to the counter.

"Hey, Anna. Here for Luce's usual?" Ethan asked from behind the counter.

"Why else would I be here?" I asked, hopping onto the counter while he prepared the bouquet of Tiger Lilies.

"Maybe, just to say hi?" He asked, nudging my shoulder. "I am your brother after all."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Calum's asking Luce to Homecoming and I'm helping."

"I was expecting as much because it's not her birthday, Valentine's Day, National Best Friend's Day, or your guys anniversary. So there had to be a special reason you were buying her flowers." he said as I hopped off the counter.

"Good detective skills brother!" I teased leaning across the counter to kiss his cheek. "I love you!!!" I called over my shoulder grabbing the flowers and running out.

I climbed into his car with the flowers in hand, adjusting them so I could put my seatbelt on.

"Now. Back to my house!"

"Aye, aye, Captain!" He said, putting the car in drive.

"Calum. Stop. We don't live in a pineapple under the sea."

We drove the 5 minutes back to my house, and I hopped out. Calum, followed me into my house. I went straight to my kitchen to put the flowers in a vase until I was ready for them. Sitting Calum on the couch, I ran up to my bedroom and grabbed the extra poster board I kept under my bed. I pulled out my colored markers and I drew onto the poster board. Lucy, it would be my pleasure to lace your fingers with mine as we dance the night away. Will you be my date to Homecoming?

Finishing up the poster, I capped all my markers and put them away. Laying the poster flat, I grabbed my jar of rose petals and bounded down the stairs. I grabbed a piece of printer paper from the printer and wrote a note. If you wanna know who I am, follow the trail of rose petals, until you find the smile that only shines for you. Grinning eagerly, I ran into the living room and told Calum my plan.

"Okay. So. I'm going to walk to the park, and leave a trail of rose petals from my front door where you will be standing with the flowers, and I'll be waiting for her with the poster and the note. And I'll walk her back here and you'll get your answer. Okay?"

"Okay. I'm ready. Thank you so much, Belle."

"No problem, she's my best friend. I can do this."

I handed Calum the lilies, and stationed him on my front porch. Grabbing the note, the poster, and the jar of rose petals. I walked to the park carefully littering the sidewalk with the beautiful petals. I sat on the swings, slowly swinging waiting for her.

"Belle...what's this?" She asked. Pulling me out of my thoughts. "Is this for me?"

"Yeah, love. Read the note." I said, handing it to her.

"If you wanna know who I am, follow the trail of rose petals, until you find the smile that only shines for you."

"Let's go." I said, putting my arm around her waist guiding her in the direction of my house.

As we slowly walked back to my house she picked up every rose petal, and put them back in the jar. Smiling every step we took, until we finally got back to my porch. Seeing her face light up when she saw Calum standing there with the flowers in his hands beaming at her.

"Oh, Calum. Yes!" She cried, running into his arms.

I smiled, as she ran back to me and threw her arms around my neck. "I know you did this, thank you so much." She whispered in my ear before she let go of me.
