I was still tied up to a chair, it's been two days I was brought here and every now and then Miles would come in to get more information regarding Antonio and yell at my face while at it.I was tired of it all, I still don't know where they took Nate, no one is saying anything to me. I heard footsteps suddenly and snapped my head towards the door.
Just a second later, I heard keys on the door and it opened revealing Aurora, she had a tray with food and closing the door behind her she moved towards me.
"Let me guess, they sent you to poison me." I spat. I can't believe I once trusted her, while the whole time she was double-crossing me.
"Trust me, Poison is too easy... If the boys had their way you would be hanging on stake right now." She said walking over to me, I scoffed, "No one is going to hurt you here, Eva. This is just for extra security."
"Where's my brother?" I spat.
"He's fine." She answered, "He's not here but he's safe."
"Why would I believe anything that comes out your mouth again, you lied and deceived me. I thought they killed and I almost went back to try to save you but the is that you left me-"
"I didn't lie." She cut in, "I really was trying to help you get your brother back but I got in trouble." She paused for a while, "I killed someone... the guy I left with... He tried to rape me and I stabbed him with his knife." her voice trembled as she continued, "I was so scared, I had his blood all over me. I was terrified of what might happen if they caught me, so I panicked and called Miles. He called his inside men and they got me out, that's how I got out. I'm sorry." She muttered tearfully,
"I'm sorry.." I mumbled feeling guilty, "I couldn't have known that."
"It's fine...I'm over it. I'm from a family of hardened criminals, it's inevitable. I'm even marrying one in a few weeks." She said and let out a chuckle afterward.
"You love him?" I whispered.
She grinned shyly, "I didn't at first, but a few nights alone with him, I learned to love him and as well see his peaceful side, I know he can be a little mean." She said smiling all over, "Anyway, you need to eat." She went around and began untieing me. Once I was free, I gasped, rubbing my wrist.
She placed the tray in front of me and motioned me to eat, "I made it myself..." She added.
I stared at the bowl of porridge before grabbing the spoon to eat, I didn't like porridge very much but I was hungry and I couldn't afford to be picky.
Aurora watched me carefully as I ate. I cleared my throat, slowly eating. It was really hard to swallow with her watching me, "I'm not going to run if that's what you're afraid of."
"I'm not worried." She muttered in a whisper.
I ate to my satisfaction, "I'm done." I said and grabbed the fresh bottle of water I took a gulp. I can't remember the last time I had real food or a nice bath.
"Is there anything else you want?" She asked as if reading my thoughts.
"I want to pee," I muttered quickly.
"Oh." She gasped, "Um... There's an extra bathroom down the hall, I'll escort you quickly...." She said leading me out of the door. As I got out of the cell, my first instinct was to run but I was smart to know I won't get far, the house is littered with security, it's like a circus of armed men.
Aurora guided me down the hall before stopping in front of a brown door, she opened it and led me inside a bathroom,
"Freshen up quickly, while I get you some new clothes, you can't be here looking like a stripper." He said, casually chuckling afterward.
