On March 3rd, 2016 we lost the most iconic fictional character we have ever seen:
Lexa kom Trikru.
She died at the age of 21 because she was shot by a stray bullet from a man who actually was a father figure to her.
The way she died was weak.
Lexa was a powerful warrior, leader of 13 clans and winner of many battles.
It is obvious that a strong character like her deserves a heroic death.
The way and the moment she died were definitely wrong and unfair and hurt a lot of people since she was shot just a few minutes after main character Clarke finally confessed her feelings for her and fans got the scene they had been waiting for for a long time.
Both fans and actors were really upset about losing Lexa.
What no one expected was the outrage that started after her death.
This time, the fans didn't just ignore her death.
This time they fought back.
And we are still fighting.
