Read this if you enjoy reading their story just like me. Of course y'all already know who she is.
The last three paragraphs are a little different so maybe you can read them at least.
---------------------------------------------------------
Lexa kom Trikru was born on July 1st, 2128 as a Nightblood which is why she has been trained to be a warrior since a very young age so that one day she could attend the conclave, a combat with only one survivor, and become the Commander.
At the age of 12 she accepted the flame after above mentioned conclave and became the Commander of the 12 clans.
The Grounders' way to survive has always been "Jus drein jus daun" -"blood must have blood" and Lexa believed in this way and used it for a long time.
She was known for being ruthless but merciful.
She always put her people first and always did everything to keep them safe.
Her people looked up to her, did what she said and accepted the young girl as their leader.
As she grew up, she was taught that love is weakness by flamekeeper Titus who became something like a father figure to her.
She believed he was right about that her whole life.
And after her girlfriend, Costia, was killed by the Ice Nation, she believed it even more.
Costia was tortured because the queen of Azgeda wanted to know Lexa's secrets. In the end, they cut off Costia's head and Lexa felt guilty which is why she stopped caring about other people.
She became a warrior who seemed to be free from emotions.
Only very few people knew that she was broken on the inside and never truly got over the loss of Costia.
Everything changed when one day, a drop ship with 101 delinquents landed on Earth.
At first, they weren't at peace with each other but that slowly changed when Lexa met their leader, Clarke Griffin.
Little by little they started to trust each other as they spent more time together.
In episode 2×14, Bodyguard of Lies, Lexa admitted that she cares about Clarke and told her that she trusts her. They talked about their ways to survive and then Clarke said "Maybe life should be about more than just surviving. Don't we deserve better than that?" Lexa looked at her answering "maybe we do" and kissed Clarke, revealing her emotions to someone else for the first time in so long.
Clarke kissed her back but then pulled away as she wasn't ready for a relationship.
Living in a world like theirs, they were still at war.
But the two girls had agreed that their people would fight their enemy, the Mountain Men, together.
Only when they wanted to start the fight, Lexa betrayed Clarke and only saved her own people.
Clarke was sad and disappointed in her. She was hiding in the woods until she was brought back to the capital and Lexa's home, Polis, by Prince Roan of Azgeda.
The girls reunited and Clarke showed Lexa how angry she was and even tried to kill her.
But she couldn't.
She removed her knife from Lexa's throat in tears after Lexa apologized to her, looking at her as if she thinks she deserved to die for what she's done.
Clarke started to understand that Lexa did it for her people.
Later, Lexa offered Clarke that her people, Skaikru, could become the 13th clan meaning that Lexa would treat them as her own people.
During the cerenomy of making them the 13th clan, the Ice Nation attacked and killed some of their people which lead to capturing their queen, Nia, in Polis. Nia challenged Lexa to fight against her son, Roan in a combat only one of them would get to survive.
During that fight, Clarke was really worried but Lexa was a good fighter and ended up killing queen Nia with the words "jus drein jus daun", avenging Costia's death.
After that fight you could see Clarke's feelings for Lexa develope.
She spent more time with her, they finally had peaceful conversations again and Clarke slowly exposed her feelings.
She also told Lexa that she thinks "blood must have blood" isn't the right way and convinced her to change their way. When Lexa woke up from nightmares of the past Commanders telling her that she's betraying their legacy, Clarke comforted her and told her "Your legacy will be peace".
Lexa presented her new way to survive to her people in an inspiring speech.
Everything went well until some of Clarke's people attacked a grounder village. Lexa had to do something about it and announced a kill order making Skaikru stay in their area.
Later, Clarke and Lexa talked about it and Lexa invited the other girl to stay with her.
When Titus entered the room, he asked Clarke to leave and talked to Lexa, reminding her that love is weakness.
But this time she didn't want to hear anything about that and yelled at him: "I'm more than capable of separating feelings from duty".
But since Clarke was the leader of Skaikru, she had to go back to her people even though she didn't want to leave Lexa. She went to say goodbye to her and apologized for leaving but Lexa answered that she didn't have to be sorry. "You have to go back to your people", she explained, "That's why I... that's why you're you". Clarke's eyes met hers quickly when she almost told her she loved her. But Lexa wasn't sure about Clarke's feelings for her so she didn't say it, not wanting to force Clarke to something she didn't want.  But when Lexa said goodbye to her asking "May we meet again?", Clarke couldn't deny her feelings any longer and walked towards Lexa and kissed her answering the unspoken sentence from earlier.
When they stopped for a short time, a tear rolled down Lexa's cheek and it was the first time she cried.
The girl she loved so much loved her back when she had lost hope a long time ago.
They slept together and were truly happy for the first time.
It was the first time you could see Lexa smile so bright.
But only 5 minutes later, Clarke found her friend Murphy in another room in the tower of Polis, tied on a chair. She tried to save him but Titus appeared and didn't let her. Clarke asked him to let them go but he answered Lexa would never execute her duty as long as she was alive. He started shooting around until suddenly the bullet hit Lexa who had just entered the room.
She collapsed immediately because of the big loss of blood and Clarke tried to save her.
Lexa was in so much pain but she tried to comfort Clarke. "Don't be afraid" she whispered breathlessly.
Clarke kept trying to stop the bleeding but she couldn't.
Lexa knew she couldn't help her and when Clarke said "Don't you dare give up" she answered "I'm not. My spirit will live on"
"No! I'm not letting you die!"
"There's nothing you can do now. The next Commander will protect you"
"I don't want the next Commander. I want you"
Lexa started losing power and after a while she whispered Clarke's name.
"Ai gonplei ste odon" -My fight is over.
"No. No, no I won't accept that."
Then Lexa said her final words, remembering the sentence Clarke told her before their first kiss. Without realizing it, they had started living by that sentence, "you were right, Clarke. Life is about more than just surviving"
After her eulogy for Lexa, Clarke gave the girl she loved one last kiss and when she lifted her head up again, Lexa's eyes were still looking at her but there was no life in them. No breath was escaping her mouth. Crying, Clarke closed Lexa's beautiful green eyes forever.
The eyes that looked at her in a way no one had ever looked at her.
Full of love and as if she was the most special thing in the world.

Lexa died that day but since she was the Commander, she had an AI in her head that gave them the opportunity to meet again in the so-called "City of Light".
Lexa saved Clarke there in a final fight. They hugged tightly and when the time had come to say goodbye to each other yet again, Clarke pulled Lexa back.
"I love you!" She told her.
"I'll always be with you", lexa replied.
And then they had to leave.
Clarke had to destroy the COL and was back in the real world.
Her eyes were still filled with tears of the pain of losing the love of her life a second time.

Time passed and the AI from Lexa's head, the "flame", was everything Clarke had left of Lexa.
She still loved her six years later and never got over the pain.
She met a child, Madi, a little Nightblood that later also accepted the flame. She could see Lexa because of the flame she now had in her head.
Lexa taught Madi that love is not weakness and that life is about more tham just surviving. She also said that betraying Clarke was her deepest regret.

All her life Lexa had been taught how to survive and what her life should be like.

But Clarke made her believe in something more than that. In a life that is not just about surviving, in love and in peace.

Lexa was the first Commander to change the way into "blood must not have blood" and unite the 13 clans.
The girl who was taught that love was weakness and seemed to have no emotions but actually cared so deeply and unconditionally.
Even after all this time, people talk about her.
In the show and in real life.
Episode 3×07, "Thirteen", aired three years ago.
Lexa might have died but her fight will not be over for a long time.
We are still here, loving and missing her.
