prologue

I look around at the room one more time and sigh why did we have to move was he on to us again

"Hurry up we got to go". My dad says from outside.

"I am coming"! I shout louder than needed.

How long has it been since he took over I think back everyone has some kind of power and our " King" has the strongest. I don't know what it is but it is insane.

He is in charge of the law making  regarding the abilitys. Fair or unfair we have to follow them. Some zones are friendly which means you cannot attack. Other are hostile which means you can attack without doing a duel. The funny thing is my new school is one of the hostile zones.

That madman took over by force killing whoever got in his way. A lot of people died in those few months. Some of them were my friends....

A sudden slap to the back of my head snaps me out of my trance. I whirl around to see my sister Jessica (we just call her jess).

"What the heck was that for". I say frustrated at my little sister
" Just because your power is strong does not mean you can do whatever you want".

"Not my fault your gaurd was down and you were wide open spacing out again". She says back

" Yeah yeah whatever" I say back to jess. Her power just makes her super fast and super strong, like a slightly weaker one punch man

"Where were we moving again".I ask Jess.

" Were you even listening we are moving to Florida" She says back kind of disappointed that I forgot.

"What" I say back

I look at my sister more closely she is wearing a black tee-shirt and jeans. Her black hair is in a ponytail and she has blue sneakers.

I myself have almost the same outfit minus the pony tail and jeans. I mean who wears jeans in the summer c'mon.

"We gotta go now".My dad says he has a basic ice ability, not that strong but good enough.

Jess sighs and walks away. I on the other hand stay and look around, I don't want to leave.

Suddenly I hear a explosion I look out the window and sigh. These two always go at it jhon has an explosion ability while Bob has teleportation. You can't really call a winner until one gets two tired to fight. Jhon wins I think as Bob falls to his knees.

Duels are weird and cool at the same time. The first to knock out the other player or, break their badge wins money.

" We have to go NOW". My dad hollers.

"I know am on my way" I say back

I look around and grab the last few boxes and my phone. I then walk outside and pack the stuff in the trunk. I keep the phone in my pocket and get in the car.

I take a seat next to jess who is on her phone. "Let's go I'm ready" I say to my dad.

"Ok then" He says back I feel that car start.

I look back at my house one more time and say " Goodbye".
It is just a new school I tell myself it will be fine right.... Who am I kidding I am doomed.
