chapter 3

Hey guys I am trying something new next chapter tell me if u like it.

The stadium is massive and the lights blinds me. I look around the stadium there are rows and rows of viewers. Just like that day at the movies.... Wait what was I just thinking about. Forget it who cares need to win this first round.

"We will be starting now ready set GOOOO" The announcer says

We all split up me backing up Rose. Finn and Jack split up to attack the others. Me and Rose are engaging the queen and the ace.

"To the left" Rose says "scan her"

I do as she says and scan the queen. This can't be right the scan says she has my power. Me and the queen eye each other. She lunges at Rose with insane speed. "Stop time" I say the world slows then stops. I look at the queen and scan again. "Switch" I say and hit the queen with her own power. "Resume time" I say as the color comes back the queen goes flying. The ace runs over to heal her but the floor under him rises. I scan the ace before Rose uses the rock to launch him. He fly's into the wall going unconscious like the queen.

"We're done here" Rose says looking towards the other "You guys ok"

Finn is fighting off the water king. He uses his fire at the max power and points it at the ground. He goes flying up then points it towards the ceiling. He bolts down and lands on the guy rendering him unconscious.

Jack is having trouble with the barrier guy. I scan the guy then put my own barrier in side of his own. Which canceled out his. When I release the barrier Jack attacks cutting his card.

"Weeeee have a Winner" The announcers shout. "You guys go back to the hotel and rest up".

" That's our cue" Finn says walking away.

We all follow Finn back to our rooms and rest up. Well Finn rests up me, Rose, and Jack watch the rest of the matches. The oneoo that we were most scared of was attack high. They were ranked the best in the country. They were ranked right Jess went to that school she was the queen. Thanks to Jess there match ended so fast not even if could see what was going on. They are going to be a hard team we have to fight them next though. I look at Jack and Rose who are both leaving.

"You coming or what it's time to get dinner" Rose says.

I get up and walk up to them  and say "sure let's go but should we get Finn".

" Nah" Jack says "he talks way to much".

We all share a laugh as we walk to the restaurant in the hotel. " This is a nice hotel they got us isn't it" Rose says looking around in awe.

"Yeah this is a really nice place" I say looking around to. The pace looks like a palace not a hotel. I mean c'mon the people that stay here are like rich.We enter the restaurant and tell the server who we are and she says it is on the house.I look down at the menu but it is gone I look up but there is just darkness. Around me is some kid of chains there is a light far off in the distance. We're am I what am I doing here I look around one more time. Then I close my eyes suddenly I am back at the table I look around.

Rose punches me and says "Hey you ok you zoned out for a second there". She smiles but can't hide the worry written on her face.

I smile back and say "Yeah I am ok and I am getting the steak what about you guys".

"The steak for me to actually" Rose says and looks to Jack.

"Wow ok then I will get a burger not a steak shocker right" He jokes and we all laugh. I can't lose anymore friends.... Wait why am I thinking that, I don't care anymore the waitress is here.
We all tell her what we want and wait for our food. Me and Rose make fun of Jack for not getting a steak.
