Rose's POV
When we hear the scream Jonah bolts in the sounds direction. I run after him and round the corner as the scream fills the halls again. We see to men in tuxedos walking out of a room one has blood on their hands. One of the men looks at Jonah and smiles then runs off. Jonah runs into the room and looks around "Jess" He shouts. We see a pool of blood coming out of the bathroom. Jonah opens the door then takes a step back. I look into the room to see Jess the queen of attack high on the floor. Blood is all over the floor I gaspat the scenes. She was stabbed by a claw ability. I turned to look at Jonah as he fell to his knees. I walked up to him and put a hand on his shoulder. He looked up ate and said "thanks".
Jonahs POV
I fall to my knees this can't be happing was this my fault. That man smiled at me he was a Royal guard. What did Jess do what no what did I do. I feel a hand on my shoulder I look up and see Rose
"Thanks" I say with a small smile.
Jesse's body move she look at me and points "there.... After... You". As she says this she goes limp and falls back to the floor.
I look at Rose who sits down next to me. " What does she mean they are after you" She says as her phone dings. My phone dings at the same time.
Jack-guys were are u
Rose-give us a sec okay
Finn-what can be more important than this.
Jonah-said we will be a minute got it!
Finn-got it just pls hurry.
Jack-u good man.
Jonah-no not at all.
I put away my phone and look at Rose one more time then I stand up. She wraps her arms around me pulling me into a hug. I do the same wrapping my arms around her. We say like that for a few minutes until our phones ding. "Ugh we gotta go" She says walking to the party "take your time".
I follow her and we talk on the way to the party. I tell her I can't go and head to my room. Why would anyone kill the get to me. Was this about that dark room with the chains. Or that month I can't remember for the life of me I think to myself. I roll over in bed trying to fall asleep but I can't.
"There after you" Is what she said before she died. Finally I hear the sound of that ambulance I called. I look at the alarm to find it is only six. I sigh and get out of bed put on my shoes and walk out of my room. As I walk down the stairs I hear the music from the party. I consider going but I decided not to. I walk outside to take a walk and end up at the gas station. I walk in and buy a bag if chips and rent a movie. Then head back to the apartment to make dinner. When I get back to the room I put my groceries on the counter and check my phone.
Apparently Rose got worried because my home screen has like ten missed calls. My phone rings and I pick up "what's wrong" I say.

Jess power explanation: super strength/speed
She can make herself fast and strong.
Example:She could take out a group of mid-teirs in less than a second.
Weakness: slippery ground or a power like Jonah's. As well as her time limit of an hour a day.

"What's wrong is you didn't answer your calls so we all got worried" She says.
"Oh sorry" I say
"We even checked your room where were you" She says with worry in her voice.
"Um I went to the gas station to get a movie" I say. "If you want you guys can come over".
"Ok I'll be there in a bit" Rose says. She then hangs up the call.
A few minutes later I made ramen and hear a knock at the door. I open it and Rose walks in and sits on she couch with a sigh.
"How was the party" I ask handing her a bowl of ramen.
"You didn't miss much it was a bust" She says.
"Where are the others" I ask.
"I don't know and honestly I don't care" She says turning the TV on. "Eventually you get sick of being around someone who never stops talking".
" Yeah I know what you mean" I say knowing she means Finn putting in the movie. I sit next to her as the movie starts. "What about Jack he's not that bad" I say.
"Yeah but he's to quiet when Finn's around" She says "Now shush the movies Starting". We eat our ramen as we watch the movie I find myself falling asleep.
I feel a sudden weight on my arm and turn to see Rose asleep. I fall asleep and think about tomorrow. All of the remaining fighters get to go on vacation for three days. I look at Rose one more time and slip a twenty in her purse. It looked like she was out of money so I thought I would help. Slowly I drift into the void of unconscious.
