"Get off! You're heavy!" Baekhyun whined at the sudden weight leaning on his back. Chanyeol was laying on him in the middle of the hallway while the older tried to open his locker. "This is strength training-" The smaller jolted up, pushing the taller off of him. He scoffed and fixed his wrinkled blazer with a frown. His locker door opened, a small note sticking out from the side of his books. Chanyeol squinted his eyes before taking the message.

"To Byun Baekhyun. From Eunji." Chanyeol fixed his collar and prepared himself to read the apparent love letter. The amount of hearts that covered the piece of paper was a bit concerning. Before he could read the letter, Baekhyun pulled it out of his hold and threw it back inside with a blank stare. "Don't be rude. She was probably afraid to leave it in my locker." Chanyeol eyed him with curiosity. "Oh, is she a lucky girl? You interested in her?" The boy turned with an amused expression. He shut his locker with his books in hand and smiled. "If you haven't noticed..." He leaned forward with a mischievous glint in his stare.

"I'm gay."

Chanyeol felt his face flush. Baekhyun cackled when he noticed. He walked towards the baseball field with a few papers already out. "Don't be embarrassed. I don't scream it out all the time, so most people forget." The red taller followed him towards their coach's office with a pout. "You still get confessions from girls even though you aren't attracted to them?" Baekhyun shrugged while placing the files on the messy desk. "Some forget. Some think they can make me straight. And some are just... persistent. I'm sure you know. It's not like you don't have fangirls yourself." Chanyeol exhaled in distress.

"Well, they usually don't leave stuff. Whenever they try to, I catch them, and they get scared."

"Well, with that face, I'd be scared too."

"I will kill-"

"Ahem."

"Kill you with love, of course." Chanyeol pulled the smaller into a hug at the sight of their coach. The older squirmed at the sudden closeness while their instructor grinned at the interaction. "Very good. I see that you two are getting along extremely well. Are those the permission slips?" Baekhyun hummed after counting the sheets of paper once more. "Yeah. We still need a few more, but we should have them all by tomorrow. I can start collecting them at practice." He nodded while checking the permission slips himself. "That'll be great. You two get to class before you're late. I need both of you at practice a bit earlier to go over a few training steps. We need to get everyone prepared for the rest of the tournament." He pushed them back to the main hallway and waved goodbye. The two captains waddled to class with small talk, not really affected by the unexpected hug they had chosen to forget about for the moment.

"Do you think the rumors about the gang were real?"

"Maybe. You never truly know a person... even if you've been friends for years, they may have some hidden secrets."

Baekhyun flinched at his words.

He was that person. He was that friend with the hidden secrets.

Yet no one knew.

"True. I guess we won't know who it is until they show themselves or get caught."
