Prologue

Kora's life changed when she found out she was a werewolf/vampire hybrid. She left the pack life and traveled the world for a few years. Then, the worst thing that could happen in her eyes happened. She found her mate, Blake. To make things worse, he was quite possessive and wouldn't give her up so easily. So he may have kidnapped her...

Kora escaped and was done with werewolves. She decided to live as a vampire in their territory. There, she became a vampire guard for the King. She met the vampire King, Dom. They fell in love, but it wasn't right. Not for her that is. She still yearned for her mate, even though she did not want him. Her soul yearned to be with his.

Blake found Kora eventually, but she also found that he was involved with the death of her father. Her anger for him grew.

Dom made a plan to kill all werewolves. But as much as Kora hated them, she was still one of them. Her old friends for her pack, and her mother, even Blake, would all die, and she would be part of it. She couldn't let that happen and made a plan with Blake to take Dom down. But she couldn't kill him, she did love him, but her mate bond with Blake was stronger.

Kora knocked Dom unconscious and lied about having become Queen. She planned on telling Dom's kingdom that he died, and that vampires were the cause. But things didn't go as planned.

She told them of her darkest secret, that she was a hybrid. Hoping to unite or create some type of peace between the two species. But it didn't work, and they ended up running at her, going for the kill.

It ended with Kora being taken by some unknown mystery man.
