Chapter Ten:

Recap: 

She looked up towards the large dark haired man gaining new respect for him after realizing exactly what kind of role he was about to play in her brother's life; hell what role he was going to play in her life. He was her Captain, a man she was to protect, a man she was to make proud, and in the end if things ever go sideways, a man that was to protect her at all costs as his subordinate; this was a whole other world compared to the men that had influenced her life as a child.

"Well? You gonna stand there gawking at me and force me to throw you through the portal like your brother, or are you gonna walk through yourself?" Yami questioned while watching light float back into her eyes and realization dawn on her face as a small blush covered her cheeks. Her migraine subsided for just a moment and a small chuckle left her lips as she thought over how strange she must've just looked staring at the man.

"I'll walk thank you very much." she commented before walking up to the portal but just before she stepped into it she turned towards the older man with a smirk on her face and her blush no where to be seen. "If I was gawking at you, you'd know it." she laughed loudly when Yami simply raised an eyebrow. Before she continued into the portal not expecting the weird nausea that took hold of her stomach right at as she stepped into the darkness. Only one thought came to her mind as she mentally cradled her belly.

'Ew.'

When light finally came back to her eyes, Elizabeth looked around surprised as a fairly large castle-like building stood before her. It definitely wasn't a castle, more like a building that was compressed with a bunch of other buildings, but Elizabeth would admit it had a certain charm. Feeling something move under her feet, she looked down horrified to see that she was standing directly on top of Asta's head and neck and was smashing his face into the ground. 

"Oh!" she screamed jumping off of him immediately blood draining from her face as she stared on at his unmoving body. Reaching a hand out while shaking slightly she stared at her brother her migraine pulsed in her head as stress and fear consumed her. "Um, Asta?" 

After a few more seconds of her shakily calling out to him, he quickly pushed himself up in a 'push-up' position and marveled at the building infront of them. Elizabeth sighed heavily while staring at his surprised expression; she had really hoped she didn't hurt him. It was her first time going through a portal and she wasn't one hundred percent sure how her body weight would affect something when she just materializes on top of them. Though ight when she went to say something more, the doors to the building suddenly exploded sending debris everywhere. A piece of rock came flying at Elizabeth's face but she merely caught it and crushed it in her hand after inspecting it. After doing so she glared heatedly at the new voice which came pouring out of the hole. They were in a new area, and she wasn't sure who these people were.

"Alright! I'm mad now! You ready for the consequences!?" a male voice screamed at the top of it's lungs before a different more kiddish voice followed. Elizabeth squinted trying to see a little more into the building before her head pounded reminding her that she was temporarily cripple. "Not really, but let's find out." 

Looking into the room without pushing her eyes too hard, she could see a desperate fight was taking place between what appeared to be two different squad members; one was a fire user, while the other seemed to be a lightning user. Elizabeth smiled internally to herself, she had always wanted to acquire lightning magic, she knew her grimoire would be able to produce extremely powerful spells with such a strong magic. Pulling her brother up to his feet and brushing him off, she took a few steps closer to see a little better. 

Following the fight with her eyes momentarily she suddenly noticed another member of the squad who was a woman; Elizabeth suddenly had an extremely strong urge to cover Asta's eyes as she stared at the woman's exposed skin. She was definitely an older girl who was just wearing very revealing undergarments. 

A small blush came to her cheeks as Elizabeth thought of her own undergarments and questioned if red would look as good on her as it did on the woman infront of them. While she was thinking, she hadn't realized Yami, and her other squad-mate had come through the portal and was standing just behind them while her and Asta were inspecting the chaos in front of them. 

"Welcome, to the lowest ranked and worst order of knights, the Black Bulls." he said sounding a little proud while the battle between the boys continued and other members were exposed along with the half naked woman. Almost immediately Asta darted up to the building while Elizabeth hung back beside Yami and Finral. She watched her brother while they walked closer at a slower pace. The fresh air smelled a little different then in her home village, and she didn't know if her migraine was just granting her temporary insanity or what.  

"My name is Asta! I'm from the village of Hage, and as of today I'm also a member of the Black Bulls! I look forward to working with you all!" he screamed at the top of his lungs trying to make a good impression and also trying to break through the loudness in the room. Elizabeth stood just behind him while frowning, they all ignored his little introduction which made her a little sad. Reaching forwards she grabbed ahold of his shoulder and pulled him back a little to stand beside her while they watched the disaster area laid out before them. 

Just as she gave him a little smile, a fast fireball came flying just over Asta's head then exploded sending him flying. Elizabeth had jumped away at the last moment and wasn't really affected by the blast though she did get covered in dirt. Asta wasn't really affected by the accidental attack but Elizabeth on the other hand was more than pissed, she glared heatedly at the fire magic user knowing full well that he was ignoring their existence. Luckily her grimoire had absorbed his magic which meant his little 'fireball' spell was now logged into her book. Elizabeth gave a wicked smile and was about to send a major curveball back but before she could Yami smashed his hand against the wall catching all of his member's attention. 

As soon as their eyes met his, they flocked to the tall man like moths to a flame and surrounded him in seconds, asking him all sorts of questions. Elizabeth ignored them, and walked to where Asta still laid on the ground watching them in amazement. She grabbed ahold of his arm and yanked him up before dusting off his back once again while he continued to stare. 

"Is that right? You guys really like me, don't you? That's great, but-" he dropped his smiley behavior and suddenly became deadly serious. "Shut the hell up!" 

Immediately every member dropped to the ground except Finral, Elizabeth, Asta and Gordon. "This shrimp and his sister are our newest members, show them the ropes without actually killing anybody." He introduced while gesturing towards the pare of siblings. 

After that all of them looked towards Elizabeth and Asta with curious eyes. While Asta was excited to have their attention, his sister couldn't care less; she was done with the whole thing. Elizabeth was bummed out that Yami had intervened right as she was about to join the fun, and she was getting more and more spacy by the second. She knew she would need to lay down at some point in the near future since she was starting to feel a little nauseous. 

"My name is Asta, I'm from Hage village, and as of today I'm also a member of the Black Bulls! I look forward to working with you all!" he repeated loudly before stepping back beside Elizabeth and nodding his head towards her. She rolled her eyes but obeyed out of respect for her brother and her new standing within the Black Bulls. She just hoped she didn't throw up while introducing herself. 

"I'm Elizabeth, Asta's my brother so you can guess I am also from Hage. I'll do my best to assist you all when needed. But Asta will always come first so don't expect much." after that almost every member looked towards an older looking boy in the group who had greyish hair which covered his one eye. Elizabeth looked towards the man with a raised eyebrow and the stranger stared back at her with just as much intensity. She didn't even know the guy yet, but she could tell he was definitely rubbing her the wrong way. 

"There are others who belong to our group, some are on missions, some are on vacation, and some just don't feel like showing up." The Captain commented before rubbing the back of his neck for a moment. 

"Well, try to get along with them." Yami said looking more towards Elizabeth at the end then he did Asta; he guessed that out of the two of them, Elizabeth's protective nature would probably stand in the way of the others liking her as much as the little one. Though he knew she had her own little alluring attitude so he had faith she would be able to get on just fine.
