Will's POV

He couldn't stop smiling.

He literally could not stop smiling.

It was all because of that dark emo kid.

Ever since he started showing up in the infirmary, Will started to smile again.

And Will would never admit it, but the way Nico sassed will during the Greeks vs Romans Cold War sort of turned Will on.

Not that he'd ever admit it, though.

"Hey, Sunshine." A voice came from behind the Apollo cabin doors. Will immediately recognized the voice as the voice of the one and only Nico. He felt volts of electricity shiver down his spine at the word Sunshine, and he shivered. It was the word Nico called him by, because when he became happy he started to glow, Like a miniature sun.

"Hello Nico." He answered casually, struggling mostly to keep a straight face and contain my excitement when the boy walked up to me.

Nico's POV

Gods, that Apollo guy was annoying.

He always was happy, like a Mr. Sunshine.

He radiated light, which sometimes hurt Nico's dark eyes.

It didn't help that Will's shaggy blonde hair falling on his face in waves when he laughed was so hopelessly adorkable.

Or that Nico was as hopelessly in love with him as He had been with Percy.

Nico silently stepped into the Apollo cabin.

'Doctor's Orders' Will had said, when Nico asked why He had to stay in his cabin.

It was funny how Will always said 'Doctors Orders' when Nico was around him.

Almost as if Will actually LIKED Ni- no, Nico.

No one likes you, especially not the devilishly handsome, adorkable, Will-who-sparkles-like-sunshine.

No matter what Nico did to cure his love, the stubborn feeling stayed in his heart.

And sometimes fluttered into his brain when Will was around.

"Hey, Sunshine." Nico said, trying to act casual around the one person he actually enjoyed the company of.

"Hello, Nico." Will answered, shifting his beautiful amber eyes (I dunno his eye color so watevs) towards Nico's.

Nico felt himself blush and his eyes darted away under Will's gaze.

"I-It's my birthday..." Nico finally said, after staring into those beautiful eyes of Will's for what seemed like an eternity.

Will had known Nico for about a year now.

"I know, and that's why I want to go to your cabin."

Whoever's POV:

"Actually, no, we're not going to my cabin."

"Nico-"

"What's wrong with your cabin?"

"Too many people. What's wrong with your cabin?"

"It's dark, black, and made for corpses. People always seem to assume the children of the dead are the dead."

"Perfect."

"What about the-" Nico fidgeted. He twitched. He suddenly felt his mouth go very dry. "What about the rule where, uh, two non-siblings aren't allowed to be alone in the same cabin?"
