The Rise of Smash

Foreword

(Feel free to skip this, I just think it might be helpful to read)

I actually wrote this short story as an English assignment for school and somehow managed to get 120% as the grade! I guess 5 seconds of summer works wonders.

The story starts with the main character, Don Quixote, waking up in a modern day suburban shopping mall.

If you are unfamiliar with the old tale of Don Quixote, it is about a below-average man that is obsessed with the crazy stories that he reads and becomes insane. One day, he decides to go off into the world and become a night like in the books he reads, and look for adventure. It is a parody and was written long ago.

In this story, Don realizes that technology is taking over the world and wishes to stop it. He renames himself Smash and encounters the superheroes Cal-pal, Mike-ro-wave, and Dr. Fluke.

This story is also a parody and is intended to be humorous and borderline stupid.

I'm surprised that I actually got a good grade with this story. I was just having fun with it, trying to incorporate 5 seconds of summer into schoolwork to make it less dreadful.

I'm posting this on wattpad for the heck of it, maybe someone will find it and have a laugh. Also, I have tweaked a few things from the original draft in attempt to make it more appealing to readers.
