#4: I Hate You (Part 1)

Lauren's POV 

"I hate my life." I thought as I angrily slammed my bedroom door shut. I wanted to scream, I wanted to yell, but I couldn't. Instead, I just leaned against the wall and slid down as the tears were rolling down my flushed cheeks. I brought my hands to my temples and closed my eyes, thinking about what pissed me off. 

They kicked me out. My sisters, they don't need me anymore. I'm not good enough to be in the band anymore. My own siblings, the ones I looked up to for the past sixteen years of my life, picked fame over family. They chose money and popularity over me, their sister. 

I'm out of the band because I got too much hate. Christina just, one day, decided to read the comments on our most recent video and a bunch of them were hate directed towards me. I know why they're saying mean things about me, though. I was sick the day we filmed that specific cover. I know that my voice cracked at least 20 times during the song. I just couldn't do anything about it. There are also other reasons behind the hate, but I'd rather not address them right now. Bottom line: Christina thought that if I were out of the group, they would do better on the charts, and she somehow managed to convince the other girls that they'd be better off without me.

"Open the door!" I heard Dani say from the other side of the door as she kept banging on it. I sighed in frustration as I made my way to the door. I opened it and instantly rolled my eyes when I saw that Dani wasn't alone. I turned around, my back facing them, and walked up to my nightstand. 

"What are you doing?" I heard Amy question me. I bit my tongue to keep my mouth shut and clutched my fists. How dare they act like nothing happened? They crushed me yet they still have the nerve to talk to me that way? I can't even call them my sisters without cringing. We're not siblings, we're enemies. Amy repeated herself, raising her voice, which just made me scoff. I'm so done with them. 

"Lauren, answer her!" Katherine ordered me, almost yelling at me. I glared at her before I furiously threw one of my belongings to the ground, startling them. 

"Don't tell me what to do, Katherine! You are not the boss of me, okay?! You all lost the right to tell me what to do a couple of hours ago!" I snapped back, my blood boiling. I watched them as they all unconsciously took a step back, their eyes filled with sadness and with guilt. 

"you know that this is for your own good, right?" Christina told me, defending the others and herself. I frowned and looked at our fan art wall, avoiding making eye contact with any one of them. 

"We never wanted to hurt you, and we didn't want you to get hurt by those nasty comments. We're your sisters, we'd never kick you out just to get more fans." Dani added, after a few minutes of uncomfortable silence. I saw the other girls nod in agreement, making me even more angry. How dare they lie to me? 

"We are not sisters. You betrayed me." I spat out, looking up at them, my eyes watering. I stared at their faces, watching their expression change from drastically. They went from looking pretty upset to looking extremely shocked, like they didn't expect me to be mad or to say something like that. They looked down at their feet, obviously looking for something to say. I can't stand being in the same room as them anymore. I walked to the door, pushing them out of my way and opened it. I looked back and, right before I walked out, I told them, meaning every single word that came out of my mouth:

"I hate you."

Author's note: Hi! Sorry for not being very active lately! I've been super busy with school and other activities. I PROMISE I'm going to update WAPLU soon! It'll probably be up by Monday night because I have a 4 day long weekend lol.

And sorry this first part is so short hahaha. I was going to post the entire story as a one shot  but I thought that the "I hate you" part was a good ending so I just stopped there lol
