Words cannot convince you
But as a poet, they're all the art I have to show you.
My words are truly sincere and you should know it.
Trust is built over time,
Through actions.
I tried to show you,
There's not much else I can do without suffocating you.
I have written so many poems for you, about you, about the feelings I have for you.
I want you to be secure in knowing you can fully trust me.
I am no serpent, I am a badger.
Full of loyalty, and devoted in the deepest concern.
I won't beg for your trust,
But I want you to be able to confide in the fact that someone can be trustworthy of you.
I hope you haven't lost all hope,
Because I am true
And I want to be trusted in you.
