That kiss we shared
We weren't aware
Of what it would awaken
Beneath us—
But not between us.
It was quite chivalrous,
But it did not meet our solace.
It was an experiment,
which turned out the way I predicted.
It did not leave me conflicted.
It only depicted, our truths.
We did it in innocence,
Not knowing our differences is what we distaste.
But it for sure wasn't a waste.
We uncovered each other's core,
Something which we could not ignore.
In our innocence, we found a many ambivalences.
But in that kiss, we found each other's separate happiness.
