I felt a warm sensation on my face, a bright early morning sun reigned down on my face through the sheer curtains. I stretched and rose from the best night of sleep I've ever had in my whole life. I walked over to the balcony and looked over at that secret garden, and looked at all the woodland creatures in it. And then I realized, I'm the only one in this wing with a balcony. "Good morning Mae!" Shouted Yuma as she walked in with a big smile. "Yuma!" I said gleefully "why am I the only one in this wing with a balcony?" I asked confused. "OH! That's because you are the only one on this side of the hallway. Well, it's also the last room on this side, the others are around the corner. You also receive one of the biggest rooms, a corner room." Yuma explained as I felt grateful to have such a big room. I turned to look outside as Yuma followed me as we both looked over the edge. Yuma turned to me "That's the royal garden. You are the only young woman who has seen it." Yuma said to me. I kinda figured that since what was said earlier. I looked at Yuma "so what are we doing today?" I asked Yuma who then grabbed a quill and paper. "Well, today is a free day, so you and I, along with a guard, can go into the capital and go shopping for whatever you may need!" Yuma said excitedly. I was excited too. So Yuma and I got right to work, getting me dressed. "You know I'm glad you woke up so early, now we can have more time, and have more choices in stores." Yuma added as she fixed my tangled mess. She mad a flat braided bun on top of my brown hair and let the rest hang. She then pulled out a white and purple dress. My favorite color, purple. And It was a nice light airy dress because it was supposed to be warm today, Yuma brought me a gift. It was a big create, inside it had many different colored umbrellas. Many different designs too! "Yuma! I can't accept this, it's too much thank you!" I said as I hugged Yuma "Don't you worry, other little congratulations for making it!" Yuma said. I tied a bag of gold to my waist and slipped it under one of the outer folds so I'm not easy to rob. I grabbed a Nice purple smaller to my dress and we set out downstairs. I made sure to walk with poise, and grace as to make sure I looked good to incase I was being tested. As we were exciting the main gates with a guard a group of sloshy washed up women came down the hall, trying to act like they didn't have a hangover. Apparently, they stayed up late together drinking. 'Such crewed behavior, and shamelessness. 'I thought to myself as I popped open the umbrella and walked down the steps with Yuma and a guard. As we entered the carriage, we saw multiple guards escort them back into the palace. Yuma and I set off to the capital, which was 5 minutes away, and we arrived at a very popular street. It was big! Inns and restaurants everywhere, bakeries and markets, dress shops to purses and makeup. Everything and more! "Yuma, let us start with dresses?" I asked "Okay! Good call" Yuma said as we hurried along inside. When we get in I was in shock, "so many dresses!" I say to Yuma, "I know right, Amazing!" Yuma said, and we walked around, I eventually told Yuma that whatever she thought was good grab and we'll decide. I saw some very pretty dresses, blue and pink my favorite kinds. I also got some very fancy ones as we were supposed to have nice dinners. Yuma said to get an extra fancy one as we will be having Holidays with the royal family. So I found a few dresses. Yuma and I made our way to the fitting rooms. Out of 23 dresses, we got 13, and I was satisfied with the outcome. The lady put them in fabric paper and tied them and we were off. "Yuma why don't you go set those down in the carriage?" I asked her "No, No, see one year a mix up happened because a woman entered the wrong one, and stole everything. They fought so bad they both got kicked out." Yuma said remembering that one year and laughed. "Don't worry everything is fine" She reassured. As we walked and bought more items the day was ending, I was walking back to the carriage with Yuma, her and the guard holding my things no matter how much I insisted. I Bumped into a girl arguing with Yuma. "Oh my, I'm so sorry miss!" I said as I tumbled backward. Just then a pair of icy blue eyes pierced through my warm honey ones. "Watch where you're going, because when I'm the queen you'd be killed." She said harshly. She didn't recognize me, but I knew her all too well. It was that little girl that week I first moved to Chein's house. She lived in a hut by the river. I was praying hoping to the gods she wouldn't see the pendant. But with my luck she did. "That thing.." She said "what thing?" I said nervously "around your neck" She seethed. "A necklace?" I said dumbly. "Don't be dumb with me you were the one who took it from me!" She yelled in anger her blue eyes piercing with icy hot fire. "How dare you to accuse me! I found it in the river!" I yelled, I mean I wasn't wrong. "LIAR!" She yelled and tried to hurt me when the guard who had already set down my stuff and HER GUARD!? Seperated the fight. I was shocked and scared. I don't know what to do. "Pft it doesn't matter anyway because I made a stronger one and perfected it without flaws." She smirked "The curse of the moon pendant," She seethed a smile laced in venom "Your stupid blessed sun pendant won't beat this." She said "I am Yin Ju, you ruined my plans to become Wang Zhou's bride!" she was furious. And here is the next plank. 'I'm not ready for this crap.' I thought. I shrugged and walked to my carriage when suddenly my hair was pulled I squealed and used my power to override hrs easily. She was shocked but even madder. "How dare you!?" she screamed. "Easily" I complied. Yuma, the quad and I headed away. In the Carriage Yuma asked How I knew Yin Ju, "I don't really I saw her once when I was 10. That was it" I said Unsure Of tomorrow.
