(Hello everyone, this will be a chapter on the shorter side. Again picture, don't own it, and I say this every time because obviously, I don't want to take credit for what isn't mine, even if you know I didn't take the pictures lmao. Anyways, here is the new chapter! ps, that's prince Weng lol)

Going back to my chambers My father and I made small talk. "Son, Have you seen any of these young ladies close up yet?" My father Ming asked. "No father, I have not. I have only locked eyes with one but have proceeded to not interact." I said knowing I'm going to be lectured again. "My son.." And I was right. Tuning him out we went to the customs room. The room where we meet and make big decisions and talk business. I sat down at the desk with my father passing and still talking. The keeper walked in and started to tell us everything. (The keeper is like that annoying high pitched voice dude with the clipboard in Mulan) "My Lords, here are the numbers and names we have on the women sent home. From 2,129, we are down to 1,115" he said as he bowed and handed the chart to me. "So 1,114 woman have been excused, and formally taken care of and sent back by morning?" I asked raising a brow. "Yes my lord, and they were given a gift of parture too." He said I nodded. "Let me see who remains and who is in the top 100 and top 50, And top 10, and 5," I asked. The keeper then Handed me another sheet, and I scanned over it, the lady in the last place was Yi Bin, number 100. Spot 50 was Sage Yo, I looked down more, spot 10, was Lu Ming. Spot 5 was Yin Ju, and first was apparently the girl she has been hurting Mae Xein. "Keep an eye out for Yin Ju please, I hear she has been harming others. If you catch it, report and handle the situation immediately. We will not tolerate this. This is a formal time for the kingdom!" I said, as the keeper bowed and ran to the commander. I sighed and sat back, "my son, You are showing your old man proud," he said. "Thank you, father. Now, if you may, I must head to bed" I said as I walked up to the door, my father grabbed a book and waved me off. I nodded and walked out. Making my way down the halls I hear footsteps. The red carpet with gold patterns lit by lanterns. Giving a beautiful soft glow. I walked out to the royal garden, and I saw that one of the last rooms were occupied. Watching in the soft light of my garden. I see it's the lady that had played the Guqin. She was very beautiful. I finally had the time to study her face. And one of the more popular servants were there. Yuma, She was the maid assigned to that room. "The perfect room for the one in the first place" startled I turned around and saw Gin moe, the commander. He was only 3 years older and got his title from his father. "Hello Gin, Haven't seen you in a few hours." I rolled my eyes and chuckled. He then lifted his head at what I was looking at and he saw Mae. "Ah Is this the one you like?" gin laughed. "No, I haven't met her. Or any others actually. But, she is pretty though." I said. "You know Weng, She is in the first place." Gin smiled, as I thought. "She is? Well, I can see why." I said he just shook his head and laughed. He placed a hand on my back. "Get some sleep Weng, your princely duties start again tomorrow," he said and walked off. I soon followed after, thinking about what will be happening next year.
