'Actions Of Many'

{Your P.O.V}

The phone in my hands dropped to the carpet making a loud *Thud* my face twirled in mixed emotions of curiosity, concern, worry, and fear. 'Oh my god' my brain started working again realizing what I just heard, 'Grillby's being robbed!' Was the first thought to come to my head. I didn't even think, I sped out the door and jumped in my car and grabbed the keys from the glove department inside my unlocked car, I twisted the keys and pulled out the drive way as fast as I possibly could. I speed down the street towards Grillby's, I hear sirens to my left in this crowded city. I thought they were for me, but they just went past me in a blur taking a left on the next street. 'No!' That way was longer to Grillby's! I know this from always getting there before Grillby's opened, 'heh he never really new how I got there so fast'

[Flash Back]

I giggled as I turned down the streets and weaved through the people, through the blinding street lights and the people yelling I still found so much beauty here. The street lights glow like a fairy and the cars sped so fast on the free way they looked like racing horses, and how the lake in the city park waved like the ocean so everyone feels greeted when walking by, 'I loved it'. I jumped a damp wood fence and get some splinters in my hand, 'Owie!' But I kept running and slipping through gaps and climbing both metal and wood fences, Grillby's first batch of fries are the yummiest! Even though they taste amazing all day, but there's something about it being the first batch that makes it better! I turn the last ally way and see Grillby's comes in view. 'Yes! Victory dance!' I started poking my fingers in the air while jumping and twisting in the air, I stop and catch my breath then scramble to Grillby's. I burst through the door seeing the rising sun light filter through the stained glass that replaced the old broken one ever since Grillby rebuilt a new place when the monsters came to the surface, to my left are wooden padded booths with red,orange, green, and blue stained glass cover most of the left side of the wall, in front of me were more booths and a jukebox machine, 'looks brand new!' And a more pinkish/green colored window above them in all kinds of patterns, the wooded floors flowed in the sunlight that it was currently bathed in, and to my right was the bar and stools, and of course.."GRILLBY!" I yelled and ran up to the booth putting one knee on the table to give him a hug. He's a man with little,VERY little words, he patted my head and I giggled softly, I looked up at him and saw the faintest of a smile plastered on his flames, he looked concerned and grabbed my hand gently pulling it closer, he pushed his glasses up getting the first aid kit in the back of the bar, he took out a needle and a magnifying glass "is that really necessary?!" I squeaked as he laughed hearing the eight year oldness in my voice, but he held me still and started picking the splinters out, he smiled and let go of a breath I didn't know he was holding, I looked up at him and gave him the biggest smile I had. After he gave me the first batch of fries, my eyes grow wide with fries-I mean stars in my eyes! I took in the delectable scent and chomped down on my first fry, 'I'm in heaven's restaurant' I thought to myself savoring the flavor, after that I talked to grillby, he never really talked back but gave me the slightest of glances telling me he was listening, then the regulars flooded in around this time to spend their time, Ive become really good frie-no, family with these people, I was the youngest there, though they always teased me! "Hmph!" I turned my head away from them when making fun of my height "aw y/n we're joking!" The fish looking monster called out with their pal birdie.
"Hmmm Fiiiiiiiiiiine, but you owe me a basket of fries!" "Done and done y/n" They ruffled my hair"hayyyy!" I tried to fix it but it got ruffled up again. I looked out the window, 'the sun's pretty high in the sky' "Grillby I gotta go before I'm late!" He looked disappointed but gave a smile and nodded "late again you mean?" Chuckled doggo smoking a dog treat, "DOGGO!" I whined. I got up and started towards the door, I hollered back "good bye everybody!" As I spun through the door and into the busy streets once again.
