Sasha's POV
I woke up at a bed in the cave, it was cold, rain was still pouring, I looked beside me to see Jake sleeping on a chair and laying his head beside my bed..
"Jake~" I tried waking him up gently
"Jake..." I tried again
"JAKE!!" I yelled
His head popped up
"Wha- What happened??" He asked
"We've been gone for a day, we need to go back to camp!" I informed him
"But the rain is still pouring, you might get sick" He said worriedly
"Aww, that's sweet but we really need to head back, the August gang might ambush our camp now that they know where it is" I said with a worried look
"Going already?" Chris asked as he stood beside the door and his hands crossed
"We kinda need to.." I scratch the back of my head
"Understandable, I'll inform Master Yui.. Oh and Feel free to borrow one of our vehicles" He said as he left
We got ready and went to the back of the cave
"They have freaking motorcycles?!" I said as I gave Jake a surprised look
"Let's go" Jake said as he grabbed a raincoat and his helmet, he grabbed the keys and started the motorcycle
"I want to drive!" I pouted
"There's no way I'm gonna let you drive after what happened last time!" He argued
Flashback
"Let's go!" I said as I revived the engine and stepped on the gas
"YOU'RE GOING TOO FAST!!" Jake shouted as he grabbed my arm
"Woohoo!!" I yelled
"Step on the brakes!! A lady's crossing!!" Jake yelled
My eyes widened and I immediately stepped on it
We gave out deep breaths and I began laughing with joy as they crossed the street..
"Let's do that again!!" I said as I gave Jake a wide smile
----
"That was just one time and I was driving a car, not a motorcycle" I defended myself
"Yeah yeah, now wear that raincoat and helmet and let's go" He said
I went to the shelf and there was a pink helmet and a pink raincoat left..
Pink?! Really?
I groaned but grabbed it and we drove back to the camp...
"They're back!" Liv said as she ran towards us and hugged me
"Thank goodness you're alright! But someone isn't.." She said as her faced turned happy to sad
"What? Who?" I asked
"Follow me, especially you, Jake" She said as she walked towards the camp's clinic/hospital
We went in and saw Joe lying on the bed barely surviving his shot on the stomach and cuts on his body
"Joe!" Jake called as he ran towards him
"Jake! I'm glad you're alright.." Joe mumbled
"What happened, big bro?" Jake asked
"T-they caught up with me and luckily, Dave found me just in time.." He said as he gave his little brother a small smile...
"..."
"I'm alright, Jake.. And I need to tell you something.." Joe said as he gave him a serious look "Privately" He said as he looked at us
"Oh, yeah, I'm glad you're fine, Joe. We'll take our leave" I said as I dragged Olivia out
I wonder what they're talking about..
Jake's POV
"What is it, big bro?" I asked
"It's about our family history.." Joe said
"What about them?" I asked
"I want you to know this before I die.." He said as my eyes teared up
"Don't say that.." I said as tears flowed down my eyes..
"Mom and our siblings Didn't die..." He said carefully yet bluntly
"W-what?" I asked with a hint of surprise
"They didn't die.. Mom took our sisters and dad told me but I kept it a secret from you because I don't want you to be hurt... I'm sorry.." He said as he tried to grab my hand but I pulled away
"July and Jade are still alive?" I asked as I try to clear my mind...
