My mobile vibrated violently for some time. It was Talio,
Let it ring
"I know you're there." the voice-mail began, "I overeacted. I'm sorry. I lied to you. Please forgive me. I knocked you out. I am sorry, but you must understand I am not yet in full controll while I am charming snakes. I found a grass snake and couldn't resit. It was foolish. Think it over. Love, Talio." I smiled at the way he sighned it off like a letter, I grinned at the way he apologised after I made him cry, and cooed over his muddled accent. He was amazing. Intelligent, smooth, tall, caring, perfect.
Go over right now and apologise, then return the favour.
I got up and reached for my bag, opened the door and ran. I ran all the way to the green-grocers, all the way around the corner. I ran around a sharp left turn and I ran all the way from number 132 to number 66. I let myself in and ran into his flat. I ran through to the kitchen and straight into his arms.
"I'm sorry." I sniffled, my tears dampenning his shirt, "I am so, so sorry."
"It was not your fault," he replied, wrapping his arms around me and rubbing my back. I looked up at him and smiled.
This is where I belong.
I know, He thought back, I know.
I looked at him, popped up on my toes and smiled. This time, we kissed. We had a long and gentle kiss. We broke apart. He explained the wonders of his powand I made him brunch, his mc donalds had gotten cold. As he ate, delicatley and politely, I put down the wrapped up parcel and box of chocolates on the table.
"What's this?" He smiled, laying down his knife and fork,
"I got this for you last night, I saw the snake around your neck." I replied as he peeled off the wrapping paper slowly. He laughed
"Snake charming for dummies!" he read, chuckling. I laughed aswell. Then we moved onto the chocolates, he picked one up and held it near my mouth. I took a bite, he put the rest in his mouth
Delish,
Yes, delicious.
