Part 9 - Another disappearance

That's... a Tornadus?! I thought, wait, what's a Tornadus doing here? Isn't that Unova's legendary Pokémon?

However, what surprised me even more was the two human figures I spotted approaching Tornadus. One was dragging the other towards the creature. The other seemed to be struggling, however it was to no avail. The first person pulled the second up onto Tornadus, then suddenly the legendary Pokémon had zoomed into the sky and disappeared within seconds. Along with its disappearance, the gale force wind disappeared as well. Only gentle breeze was left, swaying the velvet-like grasses across the tundra.

What was... that? I thought.

"Azul!" someone exclaimed in the distance.

Huh? I thought and turned to where the sound was coming from.

To my surprise, I saw the very same young man from last night, running towards the spot where the Tornadus was last spotted. His brown coat swayed behind him; with his every step, a rustle followed. However, as I have said earlier, the two figures and the Tornadus had disappeared into the blue skies, without a trace. The young man slowed down and placed his hand to his forehead as he gazed up to the skies.

Antonio? What... happened? I thought and slowly walked over to him, no, wait... I'm not going to let him see me... he'll think I'm a stalker.

I tip-toed around the tall grass, hoping that he would not notice me for one bit. The gentle breeze kept blowing, shaking up the grasses and dead leaves around me. It was not as strong as the previous wind, but the rustles were enough to drown my footsteps, at least. I mean, the young man did not notice my presence, after all. He was just standing very still, looking up to the skies in silence.

Wait, what exactly happened there? I thought, there were figures of people then he came running calling for Azul...

...

There's no way, right?

No, no, wait... I wasn't sure with what I saw from the distance. Let's not jump the gun, I thought and calmed myself down.

I took out my Xtransceiver from my bag once again and dialled Azul's number. The device played its dialling tone. I waited a second... then two... then three...

"The number you are calling cannot be reached. Please try again in another moment," the operator told me.

...

M-maybe she's still on her call! I thought and cringed.

I turned to where Antonio was. He was still standing in the very same spot. The young man put his right hand into a satchel slung across his shoulders and pulled out a Pokegear. Immediately, he started fiddling with it and brought it close to his lips.

"Mat? Hello?" he muttered.

He's calling Matias? I thought and tip-toed to a bush near him, trying to eavesdrop.

"Yeah, something unexpected happened. Azul has been kidnapped. Again," he said.

...

I wasn't mistaken. She was kidnapped - again! I thought as I felt my heart sinking, I better give them a chase now and-

...huh? Wait... why isn't he giving them a chase on his Salamence? He's just standing there like he's...

Trying to figure something out.

"Yeah, long story short... I was kind of late to see her and she was kind of in a bad mood," he said, "then she ran off then, yeah... suddenly someone on a Tornadus snatched her away. Believe it or not,"
