That's... the legendary trio from Unova! I thought, but... what are they doing here? Is that... the Tornadus that I saw Azul got onto?
"What's the plan?" he muttered, then turn to me.
"No idea, we just gotta fight, I guess," I said as I grabbed two Pokeballs on my left arsenal, and one on my right. Froslass, Infernape, and Swanna came out from the three Pokeballs.
"Alright, guys, let's go-" I said.
In a sudden, the land quaked and I was thrown to the air. My gaze stopped at the sight of the three mighty Pokémon. The words trailed off my mouth in a split second, as I spotted a flash right in front of me, then suddenly thunder struck right in front of my toes.
!!!
I took a step back, staring at the very spot where thunder stroke. The tile was left with a small circular burn mark; I could see particles going up as a thin layer of smoke coming from that very spot. However, I had not been given the fancy of time to panic. Strong gusts of wind in the room suddenly brewed along with a torrential rain and occasional lightning in the foreground. Worst, the wind blew the rain exactly towards us. I held out my arm to my eye level to protect them from rainwater. But within seconds I felt water invading the pores of my clothes and reached my skin, leaving a cold, wet sensation. The howling wind, the pattering of the rain, and the constant rumbling intertwined in the metallic hallways. I turned to my Pokémon, worried. They were stunned, alright, to see the power of the legendary creatures - and to be put into a battle against them without command.
Damn... I thought and looked around, what do I do?
I eyed my Pokémon once again, this time they were trying to communicate with each other for a battle plan. However, I could tell that it didn't work out very smoothly, alright.
"Froslass, Infernape, Swanna, watch out-"
However, no matter how much I forced my voice to come out, I could not hear anything, not even a croak. The words were drowned out by the sound of the gust along with the pitter-patter of the torrential rain, topped with the rumbling of the earth and occasional thunder strikes to the ground. And before I knew it, the land came back shaking, the storm and thunderclouds has kicked in and some of the attacks hit my Pokémon.
At this rate we'll be rolled to dust... I have to find an opening... just one chance... I thought and gritted my teeth, I've got to break through somehow...
Then suddenly, I spotted Salamence walking to the front. It opened its mouth and launched a Hyper Beam. For a split second, I could hear the thunders pausing as soon as it landed a hit on the back of the room, along with the earthquake. I took the chance and ran up to my team.
Yelling at the top of my lungs in the wind, "Alright. Froslass, Blizzard. Infernape, Stone Edge. Swanna, Hyper Beam!"
They turned to me and nodded. A blast of cold air quickly brewed, flinging cold, white, wet snow everywhere. I held my arm to my eye level before everything is covered with the glaring white snow. From the space between my fingers, I could tell Salamence disappeared in a blink of an eye - probably recalled as he's weak to Ice type attacks. To be fair, the wind was so strong that I felt my footings were pushed a few centimetres backwards. Slowly, I started to feel numb starting from the tips of my fingers. Within seconds, the snow has piled all the way to my calves.
But this is nothing, I thought.
Infernape quickly followed up the snowstorm with the rock-type move, honed to perfect accuracy with the help of Wide Lens. The three still stood in front of us, though with less vigour and energy. Seeing the beasts in a fatigued condition, Swanna swoop in and blasted a powerful Hyper Beam to the trio. Light broke out from the very spot, along with dust dancing in the air before they were blasted across the room.
