           This was supposed to be a vacation. Where I could enjoy. Where I could just have a laugh. Where I could just hang out with friends. And where I could just ‘enjoy the roller coaster that is life’ , as Zayn says.

           Or so I thought that was it. But that changed when this stupid magazine decided to show up. Not to mention the front cover. You wanna play ‘Guess What?’ That’s a game in where you’ll need to guess what I was referring to. Let’s start, shall we?

           Is the cover about Harry Styles getting caught kissing a blonde bimbo at a bar while his girlfriend is having a vacation with his best friends?

           Yes, indeed it is. Isn’t it wonderful? Being in a vacation while your boyfriend has got his tongue down another person’s throat? Yes, it’s pretty much wonderful.

           I used to rule the world. Seas would rise when I gave the word. Now in the morning I sleep alone, sweep the streets I used to own.

           My phone started ringing with my ringtone, Viva La Vida, blaring through the speakers. Oh, so now he’s calling? Yeah, whatever.

           I ignored ALL his calls today. So now he expects me to answer him? In his dreams…

           All I need now is a beauty sleep. I changed into my pajamas and placed my hair into a messy ponytail. I positioned myself under the duvet, wishing that I would wake up into another world—in where I could possibly find peace.

                                                               * * *

           I was woken up by a loud knocking on the hotel room door. Oh, I forgot that I locked that thing, Grumbling under my breath, I got up from bed and opened the door. And there stood Eleanor, Danielle, Perrie, and my two best friends-- Lindy and Cheryl.

            "Harry is SO dead." I mumbled as I saw the angry looks on the girls' faces. "Yes he is" El scoffed.

           "Guys, this is not gonna work.", I stated, "We are never ever getting back together. Like EVER."

           “Gosh girl,” Danielle exclaimed, “You’re starting to sound like Taylor Swift.”

          “Look, I got an idea.” Cheryl said as they all piled up into our own room. We all sat down on the couch, waiting for Cheryl to continue. “Why don’t know max it up, girl?”

          “Max the what?” I asked

          “Look,” Lindy started, “There’s no use in just sitting down and crying your eyes out under the duvet for days. Loosen up girl, it’s a vacation, remember?  Why don’t you enjoy it?”

          “Yeah, or else you’d regret it by the end.” Eleanor warned.

          “Yeah!” Danielle voiced, “Why don’t you enjoy this wonderful place and show Harry how you could smile and live life without him. Show him that he can’t get you that easily. Show to him how strong you are, and how you will never be down just because of that little thing he has done.”

          I frowned, “Look, you don’t understand. Harry was my very first heartbreak. And he was the first one I fell in love with. And indeed, he is, I mean was. Yes, he was my first boyfriend.

          “But I do like your suggestion. You know what? You’re right. Let’s see how I can backfire this on his face.”

          “Good girl.”

                                                             * * *

          “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH” I flung my arms out wide as my body flows with the water, sliding down the very long slide. Yep, I got myself into riding a slide. It’s like a miracle. Why? Because I have a fear of heights, and might as well have a fear of slides too.

          But I was doing this to show how strong I am.

          My body made contact with the pool as I felt water get into my nose. Ugh, that’s why I hate slides.

          I got off the pool and ran back to the group of beach chairs where the rest of the lads and gals are staying at. Niall smiled, “See? That was easy, wasn’t it?”

          “Well, yeah, it was awesome” I confessed. It was great, indeed. “Did you take a photo of me?”

          “I did!” Zayn chirped and handed me his phone. I opened his twitter application and I logged in with my account. I clicked on a new tweet and attached the photo of me one the slide. In the photo, I was smiling widely and my hair was flying around at my back due to the air as both my arms were flung upwards. I was wearing a white swim suit with red polka dots

          I gave the phone back to Zayn and continued with drying up my hair. “So, where will we go to next?” Liam asked.

          “I don’t know,  where do you wanna go, Alicia?”

          “Me? Errrmmm…..AH! LET’S PLAY TRUTH OR DARE!”

          “Game on, Watson”, Louis Snarled, “Oooh, that rhymes.”
