Ready or not

21st March 2008. Its almost been 3 years sinces I nearly married a cheating asswipe. But now everything has changed. Im 3 years older. 3 years wiser. I turn 21 in 2 months. I havent seen antonio since the wedding. I heard he married sophia.....not that I care....i dont care a bit.... But I dont care. But I think im ready. Im leaving the house and going to a place cqlled: jokers laugh. I wore my blue strapless mini dress and b!ack heels. My eyes were dark and my skin was tan. I drove to the club. Its a popular place. Its a hit place for birthday partys and engagement parties. as I neared the club people were on the streets, clearly drunk. Music was pumping. I parked my car a street away from the club and walked. Its around 11pm on this Autumn night, its warm and the random drunk people were passing out and kissing one and another. I walked in the double doors and saw about 50 people on the dance floor. I wedge my way to the bar and I sat on the stool. The bartender smiled and walked over. "what can I get you?" as I looked at the bartender, he was young, couple years older then me, looked clean, his blonde hair shown off of the lights. "3 shots please." I smiled at him. "ID?" And are you crazy A little girl? 3?" I nodded. And handed him my ID. he passed it back and gave me my shots. Then he leaned in closer "a pretty girl like you should be in the VIP section. Ruby. There is a guy named jack wilson, he is in the VIP section right now looking at you." I looked to my left and saw the VIP section. there was a figure staring at me. One of the lights fell on,him for a few seconds....his face. Everything in the world slowed down. His stawberry blonde hair....his blue eyes....his smile..."ruby" I tore my eyes away from jack. "hmm?" The bartenders head nodded toward the drinks. "oh, thanks" and I took the shots. I stood and walked toward the guy named jack. He saw me coming. then a young lady tapped his shoulder....
