Always Near, Never Far - Luke and Jai Brooks

Part 1 - The start

"NOOOOO.. I WANT LUKKKKEEEEYYYYYY PPLWEASE

.LLUUUUUKKKKKKKEEEEYYYYYY" a Three year old Jai shouted crying and throwing a temper-tantrum. All the educators couldn't get near him to calm him down. Today was the day they want to see how Luke and Jai would cope on their own being apart from each other. it wasn't a good idea now that they saw how Jai was acting. Luke heard from the other room in the art and craft room knowing it was his brother. Cause Jai was the only one that was aloud to call him Lukey no one else not even Beau or his mum or his Nonna and Nonno. Luke ran straight into the room where Jai was crying and throwing the tantrum.

"Jai Jai Plwease Stop I'm right hwere. Don't crwy it'll make me Sad" Luke said cuddling Jai. Jai soon calmed down and was now cuddling Luke back not letting go. They took off back to the art and craft room where Luke was currently before happened with Jai's tantrum.

In the Afternoon Jai & Luke's Mum Came with Beau to Pick them up from daycare, she knew that the centre was going to try and separate the twins knowing fully well that Luke and Jai wouldn't have it that way. Gina walked in with Beau holding her hand.

"Mummmmmy"Mumma" was what she heard and saw her two beautiful twin boys running towards her, she bent down and held her arms out to the two running towards her. Beau had ran off to the music area the had in one room.

" Ohh how are my gorgeous boys today. did you boys have fun in daycare" Gina kissed Luke and Jai's forehead and rubbed their noses together.

"Noooo thwey tried too sweparate me and Lukey" Jai pouted and Luke crossed his arms " No one try's to sweparate me and Jai Jai" Luke said.

"Ohh boys it's ok they were just seeing how you would go if one wasn't there" Cooed Gina. She yelled out for Beau grabbed the boys bag, picked up Jai in her arms and made sure Beau was holding hands with her free hand and Luke was holding onto Beau's hand as they all thanked the lady's they walked out to the car and drop home..

While Gina was driving she could see in her rearview mirror that both Luke and Jai had fallen asleep and Beau starting to dose off to sleep as well, It had been a year since the boy's father left them and Gina to raise these boys on her own with the help of Nonno and Nonna. She pulled into the driveway of their house, got and opened the passenger door and woke the three boys up. They all got out and waited at the front door while Gina grabbed their bags and got her house keys out of her bag...

"Mumma can me and Jai Jai go play in the backyard plwease" Luke asked hoping him and Jai were aloud too.

"Of course you boys can, what about Beau does he want to join"Gina replied.

"Noo his asleep in his room and I don't wanna wake him up" Luke looking downing at his feet thinking he was in trouble because he didn't want Beau to play with him and Jai.

"Alright sweetie. you go have fun in the back yard with Jai"Gina Smiled and walked into the kitchen to start the washing up .

"JAI JAI . LETS GO WE CAN GO IN THE BACKYARD AND PLAY" Luke Jumped around excitedly, Jai came running towards him and grabbed their trucks and toys to play with outside, like they always did.

"Vroom vroom" Jai minicked a car sound and held his truck in his hand driving it around the yard with Luke behind him doing the same thing.

After they got tired of that the layed down on the grass and looked up at the sky.

"Lukey prwomise me we'll never leave each other Lukey I couldn't bware the th-thwought of loosing you"Jai turned his head to face Luke's.

" Of course we won't. We will always be near and with each other forever and always Jai Jai. Me either I couldn't bare to lwoose you too. No one will ever sweparate us never ever. I pinky prwomise" Luke said Holding his little pinky out for Jai's pinky to twirl around Luke's.

" Lukey your my favourite brother don't tell Beau his too my fawvourite but your my extra fawvourite brother. We'll never leave each other" Jai said holding Luke's hand and looking up at the sky.

"Jai Jai you prwomise me that you'll always come to me with your hwurt or upset or needing to tell me swomething"Luke looked at Jai and flashed Jai his toothy grin.

"Of course I'll prwomise th-that only if you prwomise the same thing and we're always gonna be Bestfrwiends" Jai looked back at Luke held his pinky out again and Luke twirl his finger around and made the promise.

From that day on they never left each other they always found their way to each other. The Educators at their centre had given up on trying countless of times to separate them getting them to know different people and knowing their strength and weakness on their own.
