- Part 3 - Shopping Day with Mumma and Ruby

- Present Time -

"MUMMA MUMMA WAKE UP. WE GO SEE AUNTIE KIKI" Ruby said Running into her parents and jumping on them" Mummmmmmy".

"Alright Hunny I'm up. Better not wake up the Sleeping monster who tickles little girls when he wakes" Nicole said sitting up in bed holding Ruby up.

"The twickle monster won't get Me"Ruby said proudly.

"RAWR I'm the Sleeping Monster who loves Tickling little girls and I see right in front of me" Ruby's father said in a deep voice, wiggling is finger going in close towards Ruby's tummy.

"Ahhhhhhhhahhhhhhahhhh Daddy Stwop hehehe AHHH Daddy Mummy hewlp me" Ruby laugh.

"Ohh sweetie you better say something nice to the sleepy monster then" Nicole laughed as she watched her husband and her daughter playing and tickling.

"Come on We gotta get ready remember we're going shopping with Auntie Kiana" Nicole said getting out of bed making her way downstairs.

" YAY, BREAKFAST CAN WE HAVE PANCAKES" The two Yelled. and walked downstairs and met Nicole in the kitchen.

" Ahaha When did I get to children , ones little and gorgeous while the other one is taller and handsome" Nicole kissed Ruby's cheek and her husband kiss.

Nicole made breakfast and they all sat down at the dining table " Mumma I'm done" Ruby said finishing off her last pancake.

"Alright Rubz go upstairs and I'll be there to help you sweetie" Nicole said picking up the plates and putting them in the dishwasher.

"Hey I'll go up and help Ruby with her outfit. We both know how long she takes with her outfit, she's like her mother"he said wrapping his arms around her waist.

"Hey. I'm not that bad Brooks. I don't take that long now. Alright you go up and get ready and I'll get ready" Nicole said poking his sides.

" Hey Princess. what have you picked out for your shopping day" he said walking into Ruby's room. Ruby quickly hid the top that she was looking at wearing behind her tiny frame.

"What have you got there missy"he asked picking the top out of her.

When see he saw the top he instantly knew why she would hid it from him, it was a top from his brother that he had made when they were 5 years old.

"I'm sorry daddy I wanted to wear this cause It's my favwourite. I'm sorry daddy" Ruby said starting to tear up thinking her daddy was angry at her for taking this and wanting to wear it.

He bent down to Ruby eye level and looked at her and smiled.

He handed the top to her " You Rubybear your Uncle made this with Nanna Brooks and Made me one too matching and we always wore it everywhere we went. So Your going to wear this and Uncle Beau was so jealous that he never got one"he said smiling at the memory of that day.

"So does that mean I can wear it"Ruby asked looking hopefully up at her daddy.

"Yeah of course you can princess, but let me help you fix it up because it'll be a bit big on you" he said putting the top on over her head and tying it up on the side and tucking it in with the tutu she was wearing.

" There We go Princess, All done and looking like a princess" he said kissing her forehead. The two went downstairs to find Nicole waiting for them.

When Nicole turned around she started to tear up knowing that her little daughter was wearing her husband favourite top that his brother had made from when they were 5 years old.

"Mumma I'm ready. Lets go shopping with Auntie Kiki" Ruby said letting go of her daddy's hand, doing their kiss on the right kiss in the left cheek and nudge the noses together.

"Byyeee daddy lwove you"Ruby said blowing a kiss back to her daddy and walking to the car.

"Bye sweetie. call if you need anything"Nicole said as she was pulled into a passionate kiss by her husband.

-- At Shops wit Auntie Kiana --

"Hey how's my little niece going, omg you've grown I think"Kiana said picking up Ruby and cuddling her.

"Auntie Kiki I'm going to be a big girl soon" she said holding up four fingers and giggling.

"Are you really uh i see you definitely will be a big girl soon" Kiana laughed. she put Ruby down and hugged Nicole.

"How are you sweetie, and don't tell me your fine cause I know your not" Nicole stated seriously. walking around in a toy shop for Ruby who was having way too much fun with the toys.

"Honestly It's still hard getting on with life, How's He doing" Kiana replied.

"Truthfully his is being so strong for Ruby tell her all these story bout him and his brother, I know his still hurting I can see it in his eyes. You know for the first time since everything happened he let Ruby wear the top his brother made remember the matching tee shirts" Nicole said.

After a few hours of shopping around and buying some things they all decided it was time to go home, have dinner and then off to bed.

When they got home Ruby showed her daddy what she got, he notice she had neatly folded his brothers top on her bed. He went over to the top and placed it in her draw " For whenever you want to wear this shirt it'll be here for you too wear princess. He would be so proud of you wearing that shirt" he said picking her up and placing her in bed.

Nicole came up and sat on the bed grab the book she had been reading to Ruby about the lion king..

" Goodnight sweetie pie" Nicole said

" Goodnight Princess" he said slightly closing the door but leaving a little gap for Ruby.

"So did you get anything for me today beautiful" he cheekily said wrapping his arms around her waist.

"Haha maybe but you'll have to be a good boy if you wanna find out" she cheekily replied back.

"Come on, let's go to sleep you must be tired sweetie" he said picking her up bridle style and placing her on the bed , slipping into bed next to her.

They got comfortable And he kiss his necklace and whispered "I miss you". And started to fall asleep.
