May 3rd 2016 ---

Jai was sleeping peacefully on his bed, he turned on his side. Only to hear a giggle from under his sheets, he opened his eyes and quirked an eyebrow wondering where the giggle had come from.

He looked around and saw that Nicole wasn't in her side of the bed, then suddenly out of nowhere heard a muffled laugh.

He looked at the sheets with. A confused and scared look on his face, he saw the bedsheets move and screamed falling out of bed.

Ruby burst up from the sheets and fell on top of the bed, bursting out with laughing. Jai sat up from the ground with a playful frown and pouted at Ruby.

"Hehe Daddy you Got scared " Ruby laughed out.

Jai scrambled back into bed and tickles her " That's not very nice baby girl ". She laughed and squirmed around on the bed from laughter.

Once he stopped tickling her, She jumped up on the bed and landed in Jai's lap, giving him a sloppy kiss on the cheek " Happy Birthday Daddy. I love you " Ruby said nudging their noses together .

"Thank you princess " he said smiling, giving her a big cuddle. Ruby smiled and laid on top of him and sighed.

"Ruby sweetie, is something wrong tell Daddy please" Jai asked worried cuddling Ruby.

Ruby looked up at him and sat face to face with him " Daddy, What if Uncle Lukey doesn't like his pressie " She shyly said looking at him.

" Sweetie pea, of course he'll love it. Now what did you get your Daddy which happens to be right here waiting for his present from you." Jai asked jokingly.

Ruby laughed " Haha Daddy you'll have to go down stairs mummy said you have too." She hoped off the bed.

Jai got out of bed , he sat at the edge wondering if he should surprise Ruby. He did by standing up and stretching. He walked over to Ruby, who turned around.

"Daddy y-your walking " she gasped stuttering out her words. Her eyes shined and held the biggest smile on her face.

She screamed and jumped up and down, she jumped into Jai's arms. He Picked her up, kissing the side of her head. They walked downstairs and Nicole was making breakfast.

"Hey beautiful, Whats all this " Jai said kissing her head, She froze looking wide eyed straight ahead at nothing.

She slowly turned her head and Saw Jai face to face, No crutches hiding him up, just his body and his legs.

She screamed and kissed his lips, everywhere on his face.
He hugged her tightly and kissed her back.

It had been months since Jai got therapy done, the doctors said everything was working. Just two months ago when Nicole and Ruby were out Jai decided to give his shot at walking. He did it, he was excited to show the girls and everyone else.

" Jai when did this happen " She excitedly asked in wrapping her arms from his neck.

"Um about three months ago, Kiki was helping with therapy and Well she pushed me to do it, cause she knew I could do it" He said shyly, Kissing her on the lips.

Nicole smiled " I'll have to thank Kiki for that then tonight, at your party." she said bring the food to the table .

"Can we give Daddy his presents please Mumma" Ruby begged, Nicole nodded.
