It's six a.m. may pinag-usapan kami ni Aldrin na magkikita kami sa park. I was never this nervous in my life, lalo na noong suot-suot ko pa ang favorite baseball cap ko. But this time its a first time for me. First time kong magising before six just to fix myself. First time kong maglagay ng pulbo at colorete sa mukha. First time kong mag pluck ng kilay, maglagay ng cologne. First time kong magdress at heels pero higit sa lahat first time kong tanggalin ang cap ko.

My cap was my safe zone. It was my sanctuary from danger and judgement that surrounds me. I know it sounds absurd but can you blame me? This world is full of judgemental and dangerous people, who always say they would be your shield but in the end they will be a sword or a knife to stab you and kill you emotionally, mentally and physically.

But that safe zone, that sanctuary was blown away by a wind, a wind stronger than any and a wind that built up my wings to fly again and to face this world that I was afraid of.
