I LOVE YOU EVERMORE

The night is filled with one humble star--

Alone and worried in the distance,

About to sigh, about to cry,

"Tonight, I love him more than ever and never,

Will I sever this love bond forever."

The sea is crowded with one weak fish--

Shivering in the cold blue ocean,

Singing an unheard ballad to somebody far,

"I love him like God--

Patient. Kind. Unconditional. Entwined."

The desert is frozen by the heat of the sun.

It tries to be hot, but the heat is gone.

And the cacti shout in unison,

"Rays of insecurity sting me,

Like demonic vipers from hell."

The poet's mind is filled with blanks,

That only love can fill.

But love doesn't feel that way right now and he writes,

"IN BOLD LETTERS, I WRITE THIS ODE TO YOU,

I LOVE YOU, JIM LARK M. HON."

Faith battles Fear,

She loves him more than anything in this world,

And will give her all to make him stay.

Amidst the chaos that order brought,

And inhibitions of forbidden love, a captive wails,

"We are prisoners of each other's love.

Let me incarcerate you in my heart,

Forever and always.

"With love, I will shackle your arms;

chain your body; and capture your spirit."

The oracle is haunted by her man's dead Past,

And she tries to stay sane to save their quivering Present,

And she will stay sane to fulfill her vision of her happy Future.

"I will love him even if it blinds me!

I will love him even if it leaves me powerless!"

All these metaphors and euphoric lines,

They all point to me and him,

For I love Johnny like Juliet to Romeo.

And once more, I will gamble in love's game,

And win for the first time; and Fate I will tame.

Oh! Hear, ye! Baucis and Philemon,

Pyramus and Thisbe, and Cupid and Psyche!

A love story will transcend yours--that of a dancer and an actor!

Happily, it'll end with the biggest HAPPILY EVER AFTER,

Sadly, it'll end with the most heart-breaking TRAGEDY.

A love story it will be that even the Muses will envy,

Cherubims will talk about,

And people will die for to hear.

Tick, tock. Tick, tock. There goes the clock,

That will sentence us with "Till Death do us part".

I love you, Babe. I love you true.

But I can't stay this long.

I have to end this bittersweet song.

And to die, I might find peace,

Though being with you is the best peace there is.

I have to sigh--bang, bang.

I have to cry--bang, bang.

I have to die--bang, bang.

With one gunshot, the evanescence of my life commenced.

And in my pocket, a deathnote was addressed to thee,

"I love you forever. I love you always. I love you evermore."
