"How long till they get here?" Abby inquires without moving from her position near the window. Bucky stares at her without changing his expression, though his mind was reeling. Could she hear him? Did she gain the ability to read minds because of Hydra? "It's quite obvious, Bucky, it's who you are. How long till they arrive?"

"I don't know what you're talking about." Bucky denies while slowly shaking his head.

"Seriously?" Abby gruffs, when the soldier doesn't respond she closes her eyes for a few seconds before a mask seems to appear out of nowhere. Bucky watches the black fabric literally grow around Abby's face before she disappears. Leaving just cold, piercing blue eyes that stare at him. "I thought I could trust you here, Barnes, but you're just the same as James back home. At least here, you've learned which side you're on. So I can't be that angry."

Bucky furrows his eyebrows in confusion, what did she mean? In this supposed world of hers, had he not left Hydra? Is that what they tried to put into her brain in order to trick Abby into thinking she wasn't from here?

Abby moves towards the window, her muscles tight with what seemed to be anger. Bucky jumps up from the couch and attempts to go after her but Abby whirls around and raises her right hand in front of her face. A large blue circle appears between her and Bucky, effectively trapping him in place. Bucky looks around in confusion, Abby had never been able to do that before. She was a normal girl...wasn't she?

"When will you learn?" Abby scoffs, her voice stoic. "I'm not from here, Bucky, I'm not the same girl you lost two weeks ago. The sooner you learn that, the better."

With that, Bucky literally watches Abby's body disappear. Starting from her head and slowly down to her toes all within a few seconds, he blinks a few times to stare at the spot she had been before shaking his head. How was this possible? A few seconds later, the large blue circle disintegrates, leaving him in the middle of his living room to stand in utter shock.

The moment of peace doesn't last long, not even a minute later Natasha Romanoff is kicking down his front door with tranquilizers held in front of her body. Steve follows behind with Clint and Wanda, Peter swings in from the window that Abby had left, Tony enters from the bedroom, and several others just appear from random places.

Slowly, each Avenger surveys the apartment and Bucky's shocked state. Steve is the first to approach Bucky in a slow manner, hoping that what Bucky had said wasn't true. If it was, then there was the possibility that Abby had set off his WS mode.

"S-she...she." Bucky stutters while fully turning to his best friend. "She has powers."

"What?" Peter questions while ripping off his mask. "No, that was just technology we saw her using! She doesn't have powers!"

"There was a blue circle around me and she went invisible!" Bucky cries. "I couldn't move, that isn't technology."

"Those Hydra bastards." Tony hisses as his mask flips up.

"What the hell are we going to do now? If Abby can turn invisible the only way to find her is through heat signature. There's no way we can track her!" Clint cries while throwing his hands in the air to show his defeat. "Can we?"

"Maybe Bruce and I can find a way." Tony sighs. "Bruce? You copy?"

"Loud and clear." The scientist replies through the coms, as they had thought it best to leave the big guy home for this little run.

"If Abby is out there with Hydra on the brain," Peter mumbles while tapping his chin. "She could hurt herself and a lot of people, what if we can't get her back?"

Steve and Tony share a look, Steve asking if this kid had really been Abby's boyfriend. Tony gives a subtle nod before the Captain walks forward and places a hand on Peter's shoulder, the spider doesn't even flinch.

"You see that man over there?" Steve questions while pointing at Bucky. He hated to do this to his friend, but the teenager was obviously stressing out about the whole ordeal. "He was the Winter Soldier for seventy years, I know you know the stories told about him, yet here he is. Standing in front of us without so much as an itch to kill. If I can get him back without any technology on my side, I sure as hell can get my daughter back with Tony's genius. Abby is going to be fine, okay? We'll find her and we'll rescue her."

"Are you sure Mr...I mean Captain Rogers?" Peter questions while tipping his head up. "I don't know if I can lose her again."

"I know, kid," Steve whispers as Natasha steps forward to hug Peter, surprising everyone in the room. "I know."
