Avengers Tower - Lab
Seconds Later

"I am a genius," Tony proclaims while throwing his arms out. "I knew giving random kids around the area one hundred dollars to keep an eye out would work in our favor!"

"Are you expecting a medal?" Natasha raises her eyebrow. "Or are you hoping for our applause."

"I mean...both wouldn't hurt," He shrugs with a smile.

"Hey, uh, Tony," Clint clears his throat while jerking his head towards Peter, who had taken refuge by a large window. He was sitting there, staring at the world below them with his eyes rimmed red from crying. "There's something wrong with the kid."

"He's just bummed that he let her go, it's fine," Tony waves him off. "He'll feel better when we get Abby back safe and sound."

"Where are Steve and Bruce?" Natasha demands, trying to pull the attention away from Peter. She knew how hard it was to cry in front of people, she hated it, and wanted to give Peter the opportunity to go through his emotions without them staring him down.

"Went to SHIELD in hopes of getting Fury on our side." Tony shrugs. "I don't see why we need them but Steve said something about 'gaining' alliances since Hydra's involved. I for one think that locating, capturing, and then fixing is the right course of action. Who needs SHIELD? They've lied to us so many times before! I'm sure they're going to do it again!"

SHIELD Base - New York
Phil Coulson - Steve Rogers - Bruce Banner

"So you can't help us?" Steve questions while rubbing his temples. "She's our daughter!"

"I know, we're looking into it as much as we can but..." Coulson trails off while waving his hands around. "She wasn't apart of SHIELD before, Abby barely had an existence because you all kept her hidden from the public. We won't be much help in tracking her down if Hydra has cracked new technologies since Stark isn't willing to share his with us."

"What if we did?" Bruce inquires. "Could you help then?"

"There's always a gain to have, isn't there?" Steve hisses. "You can't just...you know what? Forget it! Tony was right, we don't need your help!"

SHIELD Base - New York
Abby Stark-Rogers - Nick Fury

"Does that show you where our loyalties are?" Nick questions while looking away from the screen. Abby was sitting across from him with her arms crossed, she had beat the boys here by five minutes.

It was enough time to tell Fury and Coulson her story, her goals, and what had to be done in order to achieve them. The top of the list was getting the Avengers as far away from here as they could, even if that meant telling them a fat lie.

Abby shrugs and picks a piece of lint off her suit, she had yet to put it away in case Fury tried something. He wasn't always the most trustworthy back home and she had the impression that it was the same here, were all 'Nick Furys' the same? Was he just that bad-ass?

"I guess," She finally speaks up.

"Can you tell us what this sphere has to do with our dimension, then?" Fury raises his eyebrow.

"Well, Echo is after it, as I told you," Abby states while leaning forward. "If he gets his hands on it first, he will use it to obtain information from every source on this planet. His hope is that the titan Thanos is around, Echo lost his chance to side with Thanos during our battles and I have a strong suspicion that he's not going to waste it the second time around. If I can get the sphere before him, I may be able to use it to send us both home. Hopefully sooner than later and before he has the chance to get in touch with your dimension's Thanos."

"I got them to leave." Phil Coulson reports while stepping into the room, his eyes switching between Abby and Fury. "Though they weren't happy about it."

"Good," Fury nods while rubbing his chin. Having this Abby here could help them prepare for the threats that would be coming their way, they maybe could even convince her to help them defeat them or leave behind technology that will. "I have an idea."

"Uh oh," Coulson mumbles under his breath while moving to stand on the side of Fury's desk.

"We'll help you, even lead you straight to the infinity stones that we have in our possession," Fury bargains. "If you help us."

"Help you?" Abby questions. "What do you need help with?"

"You keep mentioning this 'Thanos' and Hydra, I assume that means you know a lot about them." Fury replies.

"Mostly." Abby shrugs back. "Are you saying that you want my help in taking them both down before I go?"

"Along those lines." Fury nods. "I was thinking more information but if you're thinking full take down, I won't stand in the way."

Abby bites her lip in thought, she hadn't been able to take down a normal Hydra base in ages. It had mostly been aliens and whatever other crap that was thrown her way after the wave of Thanos. Here she'd have a second chance, here she could have the opportunity to save her parents. Even if they weren't really her parents. With SHIELD behind her, she'd even have better ways to contact Max, a win-win situation.

"Alright, I'll help you." Abby nods with a smile. "But they know nothing until it is absolutely necessary. Do we have a deal? Can I trust you?"

"We have a deal, Ms. Rogers-Stark," Fury smiles back while shaking her hand. "And don't worry, SHIELD never goes back on their promises."
