Good Morrow fella and Fillies. Hope ye having a mighty fun day!
I wake up to something cold being dropped on my body. I turned around to find Haze standing and looking down on me. "I had a feeling you were going to do this yesterday. I see some things never change." He said in a cheerful voice which made me confused. I looked above his hair to find the sky a very light blue which means the sun has just risen. I turned on my other side as a sign for him to go away. He circled me and squatted.
"You do know that the crew can't find you like this. If you don't wake up right now, I will pick you up like a sack of potatoes" he once again spoke in a playful tone in his voice. I could tell he has a smirk on his face right now. Yawning I said 'Fine' with a huff I got up. Picking up my stuff and went inside but, before I did I muttered 'I hate you right now'.
Though he said it so faintly, I still heard him say 'I wish you would mean that right now' and left. I pretend that I didn't hear him and ignored my aching heart.
I went to my small bathroom. I washed my face out of habit, looking at my appearance I cringed. My hair was a mess not mention I Still haven't gotten used to this look of mine and I don't think I ever will. I brushed my hair a little and while getting out of the bathroom. I sighed and breathed, even more, when I noticed the stack of papers on my desk. Great, I thought sarcastically. This is going to be one long day.
The once Azurian blue sky was now full of clouds. Looking at the sun I noticed it was midday. Glancing back at the stack of papers they were still there but I can tell the stack was getting smaller. Running my hand through my hair, face with tiredness and frustration. I got up from my desk and decided to go see how the crew is doing and try to relax. Yawning, I picked up the long coat from the couch and left the room. The sun blinded my eyes for a second until it adjusted but I still covered them with my scarf.
I stood on the deck of the Reaper and placed my hand on the railing while watching the deep blue ocean turn to a red and fiery sea from the setting sun. I viewed as the waves clashed with each other, as the faint shadows of fish swam, as the clouds roll by, as the setting sky began to turn into a darker shade of Blue as the northern star shone. I relished this feeling. The feeling of being connected with the ocean and the world. I could tell that the wind began to pick up when my hair whipped me on the cheek.
Suddenly I felt a pair of eyes on my back. I knew who it was even before turning. His black hair was bronze with the few sunlight shining on it, while his Azurian eyes were raging with a storm. I smirked at how dazed he looks, he noticed that I turned around. When I began walking to the Captain's room. He didn't talk to me or even look my way which made this situation even more difficult but I knew now isn't the time to let my feelings control me, I have come way too far to let all go.
Sitting on my desk once more I opened the book about the Mythos of the Ocean to try to make a plan to get past the Kraken and we only have one day before we reach the Island and finally, I would have the last and finale oceanic crystal.
Hope you enjoyed this chapter. Please keep in mind they have been edited but by me personally and my grammar isn't the best in the world. I will heir an editor later once the chapters have been all published.
ehh these two haven't patched thing up. That doesn't bode well. My ship will sink if they keep this up. Haha, I guess even a writer can ship their characters. Can't believe only six chapters more and that's its. The end.
Want to make a ship name? Go ahead. The only one that came to mind is Roze. What do you think?
Wonder what color the last crystal will be.
How are you liking things so far?
Any advice on how to improve the story is greatly appreciated.
