Chapter 16

Percys POV

We left the Marinettes house with smiles on our faces as we waved good bye the the blue bell eyed girl. That friendly conversation we had only minutes ago now that I thought about it...well it felt more like a interagation. The awkwardness in the atmosphere seemed to sky rocket through the roof. As soon as camp half-blood was mentioned merinette wouldn't leave the topic alone. Stupidly I blurted it was a boot camp.

"it's like a boot camp"

"didn't you say it was a camp were you pick strawberries?"

"uh.. And it's a boot camp we um-"

Cue Annabeth saving me "we pick strawberries to fund our camp. You know for supplies and other things"

"oh. That makes sense"

I turned back to have another look at the bakery. She was still watching us from the door.  I turned my attention back to the group zoning in mid conversation.

"-them when it's over" Jason explained.

"yeah what do we do then?" piper asked.

"interagate them." Annabeth said playing with her hair.

"interagate who?" I asked.

"the superheros" all three responded at once.

"right" I muttered.

"this strong magic... I can feel it even more. It's definitely from those superheros and something tells me it is someone from the school" piper said looking up at the roof tops as if imagining the superheros leaping arcross them.

"so what do we do then?  Interagte the whole school?" I asked.

"no but I might know someone who could help us."

Pipers POV

"seriously?" percy asked looking down at the bottle of green liquid.

"yes seriously, we probably have better luck with this plan then taking down superheroes we know nothing about" I explained.

"we have fought a lot of monsters. I'm sure we can handle a few teenagers in suits" percy rolled his eyes earning a slap from Annabeth.

"so what exactly are we doing In this plan?" Jason asked bringing his face down to the bottle to examine it.

"this my friends is embrasé. It's French for 'glowing.' Aphrodite kids usely use this stuff to find a person they desire or something"

"what do you mean 'find something they desire?'" Annabeth asked.

"I mean like... For example if someone were to get a secret admirer card but didn't know who it was from?  They would make this stuff up and give it to whoever they suspects. The fluid has to be consumed by secret. If it is the person who wrote the so called letter a visible glowing light will shine around them that the person who made the potion can see. They only way this thing truly works is if you have something that once belonged or does belonged to the person" I explained taking a deep breath.

"does it work yet?" Jason asked.

"Mike who came on this quest. He gave me all the instructions but I need something from ladybug and catnoir to activate It. Once it's activated well then we need to try and give it to the whole of the school"

"wouldn't it be easier to chase the dam super heroes?" percy asked

"you want to try and chase them down?  Did you see how fast they move?" I raised an eyebrow  "this plan is a long shot but we can always do Percys plan b if this doesn't work."

"even if we manage to do this." Jason said "how do we give the potion to everyone"

"bake sale" Annabeth concluded "we can make a list of the whole school and once someone buys a cookie we will cross off there name."

"that's great!" I smiles leaning back on the couch.

"but how to we get something from ladybug and catnoir?" Jason asked.

I thought for a moment till something ridiculously stupid poped up  "anybody have some scissors?"

"you can't be serious" percy mumbled.

"oh I am."
