hoseok pulls up in front of a small apartment. he parks slowly before finally putting the car on park.

he turns his head to see jeongguk, sleeping peacefully. he smiles warmly before gently shaking his shoulder.

"jeongguk-ah, we're here."

"ah, hyung. a few more minutes."

hoseok chuckled. "you can get hours if you hop on my back, bun."

jeongguk's left eye flutters open before and he looks at him before closing and nodding slowly. he stretches his arms and smacked his lips and opens the door. he turns to his right, ready to hop on hoseok's back.

hoseok took the car key out of the socket, closes his door and jogs to jeongguk's side.

jeongguk's arms are stretched forward, making grabby hands at hoseok to come to him.

ah, my heart. slow down there, bud. hoseok thought to himself.

he squats down facing the front door, before tapping jeongguk's thigh to hop on. jeongguk slowly wrapped his legs around hoseok's waist and carefully placing his arms on his neck. luckily, jeongguk was light and hoseok was working out.

hoseok placed his arm under jeongguk's knees and holding it firmly. he turns closes the passenger door and walks towards his beloved apartment.

"hyung, ggukie can walk if u wan m might be too heavy." jeongguk mumbles. "but m comfy so m gona stay here." he adds, rubbing his head onto hoseok's.

hoseok giggles. "it's okay, bun. we're almost there."

hoseok arrives at the front door and he doorbells two times. he heard footsteps running to get the door open and it does, and he sees taehyung.

"hyung? uh, who's that?" he asks, frowning slightly at the boy with his legs and arms wrapped around his hyung.

"oh, tae! uh, long story short, he got lost at work and his phone is dead and i offered to let him stay at ours if you don't mind." hoseok smiles, sheepishly. 

"poor baby." he mutters, reaching out to brush jeongguk's hair back. jeongguk instinctively leaned on to his hand.

hoseok takes his shoes off and taehyung closes the door. "what'd you do today, dongsaeng?"

"not much, hyung. i just mingled with joon hyung and jin hyung and that's it."

"they came over?" hoseok asks, taking jeongguk's shoes off one by one while he's still on his back. jeongguk grumbled, scratching the back of his head and smacking his lips again.

"cute." taehyung giggled. "how old is he?"

"i'm not sure, i think he's 20 or 21 i think?"

taehyung nods. "want some water, hyung?"

"bring it up for me, yeah?"

hoseok climbs up the stairs carefully, trying not to wake jeongguk up as he enters his room.

he gently sat on the side of the bed and slowly took jeongguk's legs and arms off of him one by one as he flops on the mattress.

hoseok walked to his closet and grabbed a sweater and some boxers for jeongguk to change out of.

"baby.." hoseok whispers as he brushes out jeongguk's hair out of the way of his eyes.

"baby, let's get you changed." hoseok tries again.

"hyuuuung." jeongguk grumbles, turning the other side.

then all of a sudden hoseok heard jeongguk taking his belt off and then one by one his clothing is off.

jeongguk's now in his boxers and hoseok's hoodie is now on the floor.

"iss cold, hyung. faster." jeongguk mumbles, making grabby hands at hoseok.

hoseok quickly puts on the sweater on jeongguk then pulling him the covers up to his chin.

jeongguk snuggled softly before falling back to sleep.

hoseok decided to change out of his clothes and used the boxers he got for jeongguk.

he turns the lamp on and the main light off before closing the door quietly.

he walked towards taehyung's room. "hyung? the water?"

hoseok turned, "oh yeah, can you place it on my side table for jeongguk?"

taehyung nods, before slowly entering his room.

hoseok opens the door to taehyung's room and immediately flops down on his dongsaeng's bed. he hears footsteps and taehyung closes the door.

"long day, hyung?"

"yeah, a kid couldn't stop screaming on my face i thought i was gonna go deaf."

taehyung giggles, laying beside his hyung.

"how about you, bun? how's your day?" hoseok turns to see taehyung facing the ceiling and decides to do the same.

"i think i like joon hyung and jin hyung."

hoseok hums, looking at him shortly.

"wherever you're happy, i'm happy."

"you always say that ever since mom left, hyung." taehyung frowns.

"i  only want what's best for you. you know that." hoseok closes his eyes.

"but i do, too i want you to be happy!" taehyung exclaims, looking at his hyung.

"let's go to sleep, bun. you've got work tomorrow." hoseok says, wrapping his arms around his dongsaeng and kissing his head goodnight.

"i love you, hyung. you know that, right?"

hoseok groans, "shut up and sleep."

"you're mean." taehyung pouts, placing his head on hoseok's chest.

"i love you, too." hoseok chuckles.

"always." he whispers, as he looks at taehyung. he caresses his head and looks at the ceiling once again. hoseok can't stop thinking about the doe-eyed boy in his room who is happily snoring to wonderland. 

maybe it is time for me to be happy, too.
