"ready, jeongguk?"

jeongguk nodded happily, smiling as his bunny teeth is shown.

"thanks for giving me a ride, hyung." he shyly says, while removing hoseok's hoodie.

"keep it, gguk. so we have a reason to see each other again once i drop you off."

jeongguk smiled cheekily, nodding quietly as he returns the hoodie on his body again.

hoseok starts the car and uses waze to guide him to jeongguk's home city.

it wasn't a long before hoseok pulled up a small house.

"so, this is me. it was great hanging out with you and meaning most of your friends. thank you again, hyung." jeongguk starts, cheeks flushing a shade of red.

hoseok leaned in and kissed jeongguk's cheek. "you're welcome, buby. i'll see you around, yeah?" he replies, laughing as jungkook nods aggressively.

jungkook took his seatbelt off and gave hoseok a wink before he left the car.

wow, jungkook thought to himself. it was such an eventful night. he can't wait to tell dawn and hyuna noona about it.

before he reaches the door, he turns back to see hoseok waving before driving off. the door unexpectedly opens and he sees hyuna with a frown.

"yah! you didn't at least bother messaging me? or letting me know you slept over a friend's house?" hyuna frowns even more as she crosses her arms together.

jungkook giggled. "i'm okay, noona. i just met the love of my life!"

"we literally lost you in disneyland, you dipshit! i was so worried!"

"it's okay, peter pan saved the day!" he replies with a hint of gleam in his eyes. he sighs contentedly and smiles to himself.

"jungkook-ah, your noona has been so worried about you." dawn appears with a cup of coffee and sits beside hyuna on the small loveseat.

"i'm sorry guys. i didn't mean to suddenly get lost in disneyland." he looks down.

hyuna and dawn were jungkook's roommates. they treated them as if they were his parents ever since jungkook found out his own, died. despite that, he still has junghyun, his older brother, they meet once in a while but that's not enough to fill in the emptiness he felt when they died.

when taehyung asked about his parents and schooling, he didn't want his sympathy  so he made up a lie. the same lie he tells everyone he meets. but it was true, he was at his first year in busan university and was taking music production after how many years of hard work and earning.

hyuna pouted. jungkook giggled again before hugging his noona. "i'm sorry, noona. i'll make sure to charge my phone properly next time."

"hmph. you better, you brat. now give me a kiss." hyuna shows her cheek which jungkook happily gave a peck while dawn smiled happily.

"so, you met the love of your life?" dawn asks.

"oh my gosh. yes!! here's how..."

back at hoseok's crib, namjoon and jin were happily watching disney movies with taehyung while hoseok was in his room, staring up the ceiling and smiling like a fool.

the doorbell rang, and soon enough yoongi and jimin walks through the door and joins in the party.

yoongi though, walked upstairs and knocked on hoseok's door.

"come in!"

yoongi does so and he sits on the foot of hoseok's bed.

"you look happy. where's the little doe?"

"little doe?"

"the boy with the doe eyes we met last night."

"oh!" hoseok flushes. "uh, i drove him home."

yoongi hums. "will you ever meet him again?"

"yeah, i told him to hold onto my hoodie so we have a reason to meet."

"you smooth lil bitch."

hoseok smirks before winking at yoongi.

"you going to work today?"

"i might not. taehyung and i got some errands to do for mom."

"oh, yeah. i almost forgot."

hoseok nods. suddenly, he misses his mom who passed away in a car crash not so long ago. it was her anniversary tomorrow.

"you coming with?"

yoongi nods. "when have i ever said no?"

"true."

"well, i best be going back down. jimin's gonna whine about not having someone to snuggle up to."

hoseok laughs. "'kay hyung. ill be down in a while."

yoongi leaves without replying and gently closes the door to his room.

hoseok sighs happily. he has never felt this happy in a while and he likes it.

he looks up and whispers,

" thanks, mom."

and walks out the door to join his friends.
