it's been a few weeks since jeongguk last saw hoseok and he was starting to forget that they had even met at all.

he recently started uni and ever since then it's been getting hectic each day – he even can't find the time to eat and take care of himself.

jeongguk walked to class slowly with his earbuds on, hoodie up and his arms clutching a few notebooks, when he saw yoongi and jimin outside his class.

he totally forgot hoseok's friends go to school here.

jimin smiled widely at jeongguk and was bouncing to hug him tightly.

"jeongguk-ah! i never thought i'd see you again." jimin says, his eyes crinkling and turning into moon crescents as he smiled.

"i was starting to wonder if you were joking about studying here, hyung. because i haven't seen you anywhere at all." jeongguk giggles, smiling at yoongi as they both walk towards him.

"hey, jeongguk." yoongi greets him warmly.

"this is my first time seeing you in class, yoongi hyung."

"ive been busy lately but im here now. i can help you with practicing on how to make beats if you want."

"that'd be great, hyung." jeongguk smiled, his bunny teeth showing proudly.

"oh! have you been speaking to hoseok?" jimin asks, snuggling close to yoongi.

"ah, no. i haven't. i don't even remember the last time i checked my phone." jeongguk scratches the back of his head.

"have you been eating, gguk-ah? you seem smaller than the last time i saw you." jimin asks, eyeing him up and down.

"i have but not as much as i would like." he replies, scratching the back of his head.

"ohmy, we're going to get lunch after your class with hyung okay? i will not take no for an answer. it's on me." jimin raises his eyebrow before giggling at him.

jeongguk couldn't help but nod and agree knowing his no will have no effect on jimin.

"ja, let's go inside gguk. i'll see you, baby." yoongi says, pecking jimin on the lips before dragging jeongguk inside the room.

jimin waves at them before walking to his class.

jeongguk sits beside yoongi and their teacher comes in.

"you been talking to hoseok lately?" yoongi starts the conversation as both of them open up their laptops.

"no, i haven't. how is he?" he replies.

"he's been okay. been busy convincing kids to go to neverland with him." yoongi replied, raising his hand as their teacher called for attendance.

jeongguk giggles at the thought of his hoseok hyung interacting with kids.

"i should surprise visit him when i can."

"are you free today?"

"well, besides the lunch with you and jimin hyung, i think ive got no other plans."

"wanna visit hobi?"

jeongguk thought about it for a moment before remembering he had tutoring classes for a middle schooler near his home.

"ah, i forgot i had to tutor hyunjin today, hyung. im sorry." he says, looking at yoongi with a bit of guilt in his doe eyes.

"aish, that's okay." the older replied, before listening attentively to the teacher.

jeongguk feels bad but soon doesn't at the same.

"i just feel so bad! i really didn't see the kid there, tae!"

"it's okay, hyung. it was an accident. sarang's parents already said it's alright. she still thinks you're the best, anyway."

hoseok grumbles as he remembers the events before they arrived in the hospital. he was running around with another kid pretending they could fly but then tripped over sarang, a little girl who slightly twisted her nose, and fell.

now here he is with his dongsaeng settling the hospital fees for the child.

taehyung giggles. hoseok looks at him.

"remember when we were playing while the sprinklers was on and i accidentally slipped and landed face first? i was crying the whole day thinking my nose disappeared." taehyung laughs, as he looks at hoseok. "you have the same expression when you saw me, now."

hoseok couldn't help but smile. it was really a funny moment when they were young. he misses his parents so much.

a few seconds pass, and sarang and her parents comes out of the pediatrician room.

the jung brothers immediately stood up and hoseok bowed.

"im really sorry! i didn't mean to do it on purpose. i really didn't see her."

"ah, hoseok-ssi. everything is alright. it's a fault on our part, too. we just let her wander off. please don't blame yourself." sarang's dad says, patting hoseok's shoulder.

"thank you for coming with us to the hospital. it means a lot." the mom says, bowing slightly towards the jungs.

"ah, it's not a big deal, miss. we're very sorry again for the inconvenience." taehyung says, bowing this time too.

sarang smiles at both them with a small cute bandaid on the bridge of her nose. she waves goodbye as her parents bring her out.

the jungs follow and says their goodbyes.

hoseok sighs and taehyung looks at him.

"do you have the rest of the day off?

"yeah, manager did tell me to take my time to help sarang anyways."

"wanna get something to eat? im starving."

"your treat?" hoseok winks.

"my treat." taehyung winks back.

they both walk towards the parking and bumped into jimin.

"oh? jimin?"

"oh! hyung! taetae!"

"what are you doing here?" taehyung asks.

"ah, i came to pick up some meds for my mother. im actually going on a lunch date with yoongi hyung, wanna join?" jimin asks, pointing his thumb backwards.

"if we're not intruding, sure!" taehyung replies, hugging jimin tightly.

"when have the both of you ever intruded on our dates?" jimin jokes.

it wasn't long before both cars pull up in front of a pizza parlor.

the three of them comes in and looks for a table.

"table for five please."

hoseok furrows his brows. "five?"

"oh, baby brought a friend if you don't mind."

"not at all." hoseok replied.

the waitress leads them to their table and jimin starts to order their usual and passes the menu to the other two.

the door rings, and in came yoongi and jeongguk which hoseok and taehyung never noticed at all.

as they approach the table, hoseok looks up as he hears the sounds of footsteps.

hoseok's eyes widen.
jeongguk's too.

"ggukie?"

"hyung?"

jimin and yoongi smirks.

taehyung is left dumbfounded.
