"well, are you guys just gonna stare at each other or are y'all gonna say something?"

jeongguk coughed and hoseok looked away.

jimin giggled.

"jeongguk-ah! ive missed youu!" tae says, wrapping his arms around him.

"hey, tae." he mumbles on his shoulder.

everyone sat down and hoseok took the seat beside jeongguk.

"hey, buby. how's it going?" hoseok says, smiking softly at jeongguk.

"u-uh i-ive been good! i had classes today with yoongi hyung. how's work?"

"nothing really, just the usual faith, trust, and pixie dust." hoseok chuckled.

jeongguk giggled, his cheeks tainted with a bit of red.

"i missed you, baby. we've never really talked ever since i dropped you off. i guess, our schedule's been pretty busy, huh?"

jeongguk almost choked on his saliva as he heard the pet names hoseok calls him again.

"y-yeah, college started two days after we met."

hoseok hums.

"so, we ordered the group meal we always get here when we're with namjoon and jin hyung. is that okay? jeongguk do you want anything else?" jimin asks, passing him the menu.

"whatever you guys have, ill have hyung." he smiles.

jimin nodded and gave the waitress the menu.

everyone was talking and catching up with jeongguk talking about college and their future meet ups for lunch so everyone doesn't miss out on what they've been up to.

their food arrived as well as someone jeongguk didn't expect to see.

"jeongguk-ah?"

jeongguk's eyes widened as he heard his ex's voice. he turned and saw the blonde haired girl smiling warmly at him.

"jihyo? hey." he stands up, greeting her with a friendly hug.

"i didn't expect to see you here. do you study near here?" jihyo asks, wrapping her arms around herself.

"yeah, i do!" jeongguk exclaims, before slipping out of his jacket and passing it to her.

"ah, no. im fine, ggukie."

"you never bring jackets, ji. just give it back when you see me, okay?"

jihyo blushed and nodded while slipping on his hoodie.

"oh! let me introduce to you my friends!"

jeongguk gently grabbed her hand and pulling her towards the table.

"hey guys, this is jihyo. a good friend of mine!"

jihyo waved, bowing slightly at them.

everyone introduced themselves and waved a hello then they continued to eat their food. except for hoseok, who just intently looked at the two.

"well, i should get going. ill see you around?"

"yeah, see you around ji. take care!"

jihyo kissed jeongguk's cheek before walking away to another table.

jeongguk sat down, and shrunk at the eyes who was looking at him.

"aren't you and jihyo too friendly to one another?"

"ah, well, uh. she's my ex girlfriend. we've been good friends ever since we broke up."

"oh? when was this?"
