Sirius P.O.V:

As soon as Sirius cut the call and walked into the hut that belonged to Remus Lupin, said person was waiting for him, sitting in his armchair with a cup of tea in his hands.

"How did it go then?"

"We are meeting this weekend. He has a Hogsmeade visit scheduled. But by the way he talked it seems its bad." Sirius said and ran a hand through his hair. He was improving and looked a little better than he did last year when he escaped Azkaban.

He had constant meals, better clothes than those rags in the prison, no dementors to torment him and make him lose his sleep, no constant reminder of his best friends' death and the rat's betrayal.

He was dealing with it on his own terms. He slept as Padfoot most of the time. It gave him comfort and kept the nightmares at bay. He took a seat opposite of Remus and poured himself a cup of tea.

"His name came out of the Goblet and he is being made to participate. He would lose his magic if he didn't. His best friends abandoned him. They kicked him out of the tower. He doesn't have a place to live. He is taking residence in a room that provides what ever the resident wants. The school is against him." He said in a monotone with anger leaking into it as he kept going.

It was indeed worrying to think that his pup was in trouble. Remus too was upset that his cub was being ostracized.

"Explain again why they kicked him out."

"They all think he put his name in the goblet, in secret, didn't tell them how he achieved it and he did it all for the sake of glory. The Hufflepuffs are angry at him for stealing their thunder and Cedric's chance. The Ravenclaws, I think will want to know how he did it but keep away for a long while as the Gryffindors kicked him out they won't chance angering half the school by talking to him. And the Slytherins think it is an excellent chance to bully him." Sirius told  him.

"He told you all of this?" Sirius scoffed. "Of course not. He only told me that he was kicked out and where he was living for now. But he is intelligent, he made the elves prepare an old living quarters for him in case someone came looking."

Remus nodded his head, looking thoughtful. "I didn't get the whole tale but I am going to talk to him, so..." Sirius trailed off. "You know what is worrying in everything he told me?"

"What? What else did he tell?"

"That he doesn't know one bit about his status or about the Ancient and Noble house of Potter and Black. He is literally just above the muggleborns in regards to that knowledge." Remus was startled.

"What? He should have been told, right? Who is his guardian? I mean, besides you."

"Albus took the mantle after I was thrown in the prison." Sirius said bitterly. "Not even one of his classmates mentioned anything in his presence, I am amazed by that."

"But Ron is a pureblood. Though they don't follow all those rules and stuff, they were taught when they were kids. I know Molly taught all her kids." Remus said with confusion. Sirius nodded his head.

"That is what's worrying for me." Sirius answered. "I am going to teach him, Remus. I don't care what Albus has to say. I am free, not legally, but, I can reach him, talk to him, so I will do it. I promised to tell him more about his parents."

"But he would have a reason for what he did. Maybe he didn't teach him because he thought Harry couldn't handle it growing up in muggle world." He protested weakly. Sirius gave him a sharp look.

"I don't believe it one bit and so don't you. Stop defending him in some misled sense of gratefulness. He is manipulative and thinks he knows what is best for everyone and their dog."
